Very comfy bed, very quiet and peaceful

Lack of hot water was a slight issue

Great quiet location

We checked in and could feel how cold it was and asked when would the heating come on and were advised it was on a timer for the morning and at night. The heating did come on, not for long, but the radiator did not work in the bedroom, and there was no one in reception as we left to inform how cold the room was from the moment we arrived till we left!

Very nice location such a shame the manager lives in adjacent building because if she lived in the hotel she might have turned the heating on said it was on a timer and it was for one hour sad it’s very run down no reinvestment for years

The woman on reception was nice enough. Everything else was very poor.

The shower is from the 80’s and has zero pressure, the shower rail falls off the wall, the bathroom steams up the bedroom and makes things damp. The WiFi was none existent in a poor network area so mobile use was limited. The bed was metal and squeeked a lot. The place looks derelict from inside and doesn’t have any sort of lounge area, bar, restraint or any other facilities. One small damp room and that’s your stay summed up.

I'm afraid there was very little to recommend Wincham Hall Hotel - it failed to live up to expectations

The hotel was so poor two of our five strong team decided they could not stay and left within 60 minutes and booked into another hotel down the road. I raised issues with the hotel and was met with abruptness, no apology, or no attempt to right what had gone wrong. After I sent over pictures and evidence I received a message to say they would get back to me. Of course they didnt. This is what one of my colleagues said about the hotel There were dead bugs on my top sheet as i went in. I didn't photograph the valence. It was minging. On the tray that had the tea on. I'd lifted the upside down mug- underneath was the top end of a cigarette rollie. And the doily was stained. The lino in the shower area was decrepid and rancid. The carpet! Well.. it was filthy and was covered in black bits. Not been hoovered I'd say for MONTHS. I didn't get down to look at what it was on it. Think it was years of crap. Person 2's room was absolutely freezing. The rad couldn't be turned on. Person 3 (who did decide to stay) took a video to show how filthy the bath was Reception smelt - the desk was filthy. The bin in reception- no bin bag and black dried gunk over it.
