Wifi rubbish, inflexible late check out, duvet cover was turned over instead of changed one day, lol

Love the pool bars, beach beds and beach pools. Perfect view and perfect way to rejuvenate. Rooms were however quite dark and lots of mosquitoes around so an insect repellent is always required.

Nice room, clean and comfortable, but don't think about swimming in the sea as the tide goes out very far and the beach isn't great. There is a nice pool but I was shocked to be charged 50 baht for a small bottle of water when it's 10 baht outside the hotel. Restaurant food was good except breakfast which was a bit lacking especially when it got busy. Staff were all very nice and willing to help. Overall we had a nice stay there but I would not recommend it to a friend. Actually wasn't that impressed with Koh Phangan generally.

Made two bookings through hotels.com, upgraded for the last night to the room with the outdoor jacuzzi! Found the hotel fantastic, phenomenal views and the entire property was being manicured daily. Very accommodating with requests. Only one restaurant, and one pool. Was enough though, as it wasn't crowded and very peaceful and relaxing. Found the breakfast somewhat bland and cold, we did attend the last 30minutes it was available daily. Food prices were very decent. The only thing they could improve on was the service from staff in the restaurant. The staff were friendly but seemed timid and nervous, it seemed they weren't sure if they should approach you, therefore getting more drinks was more of a self service endeavor.

Chantaramas is a really nice spot. It's perfect for couples and relaxing. A friend and I were there more for partying rather than relaxing and it was a bit of a trek into Haadrin from there. That said there's a 24 hour taxi service for 300 baht into the town, about 10 minutes away. In terms of comfort I give it 5 stars!

Wonderful stay in Chantaramas , staff were very pleasant & helpful. Pool is beautiful & location of hotel is great.

It's clear that this hotel can inflate its prices due to its proximity to the full moon party, we paid the same rate for a private pool room as we did for the sala samui, however it was night and day difference. Our room was not clean, the pool was not private (big window to public pool) and the outdoor space was overgrown and not well kept. You are forced to make a 3 night booking, that should be ok if the facilities are good and with a good spa, however facilities are limited and the spa is terrible, dirty, looks half finished and no air con and or fans! The positives were food and prices are reasonable and the staff for the pool bar and moon deck were nice. Out of 15 nights in Thailand at a range of hotels, this was the most disappointing.
