Chantaramas Resort

A pleasant stay, excellent ambiance and music, amazing pool and sunsets. The food (lunch/dinner) was nice but a bit pricey.

The rooms were fabulous. Spacious, quiet, tidy, with great amenities. The beach was very peaceful (not ideal for swimming bc too shallow but gorgeous all the same). Food fantastic, easy to get into Haad Rinn, pool was beautiful and we used it everyday. Food a bit pricey but there are other restaurants on the beach that were a but cheaper. Great value for the $. We would go back forsure!!!!!

It was a great hotel and the staff were excellent. The hotel restaurant was a little over priced but of good quality. During the full moon party period its the perfect hotel to go back to relax and unwind. This would be a good hotel for couples.

we were staying on the last week of Jan 14 , a family of 3 , had a lovely relaxing time, the staff was wonderful and attentive , hotel amenities were impeccable and in good condition , the location was very close to thong sala ( 10 minutes) the main town on the Island , if you like shopping and checking out the Thai life style, easy to step out of the hotel and pick up a taxi. The food at the restaurant at times needed improvement and was slightly expensive compare to the over all prices on the island , however we felt the kitchen staff + chefs were open to receive feedback and were trying to come forward with innovative solutions. The spa - very spacious and welcoming , with good therapists. the only thing which was a bit of a let down was the music played through out the day at the pool + restaurant- trance/ techno affiliated music with party goers , i would recommend to extend the music selection and have soft soothing music while you eat. Overall it was enjoyable , relaxing holiday and would recommend Chantaramas to most of my friends.

Hotel itself was great. Huge rooms and very luxurious. That is a major plus. The pool is also very nice. However the breakfast was very minimal and also the location is a bit far from anything interesting. I have been to similar hotels, but ones that offer free shuttle service in to town.

big and very beautiful rooms with a big tub and shower. nice breakfast right on the beach. great infinity pool. free welcome drinks at check in.. for sure it was the best hotel we stayed in our month trip in Thailand!!

One of the best hotels on the island

It's a very good hotel for couples and families just 10 minutes from the center of had reen.

Was reasonably good. We arrived i Koh Phangan for the full moon party. Stayed 2 days and overall the hotel was great. We were welcomed upon arrival and were showed to our room. Only downfall is they put another guests name on our luggage and handed me the wrong passport upon departure which was a little bit worrying.

This hotel was probably one of the best in the area. The rooms were fantastic and I thought the bedding was very comfortable. The manager was Swiss and very polite and always asking how we were and if we needed anything. The grounds needed some maintenance and sometimes it smelled like sewage (but other parts of the island did, too). It was difficult to get drink/food service at the pool and beach. Also, guests from the neighboring hotel were using our chairs and pool bc they didn't have one. Overall, I would recommend if you are wanting to go to this island. I went for the Full Moon Party and should have just stayed for 1 or 2 nights and then gone to stay on Ko Sumui for the remainder of my trip.
