Nice size rooms but not very clean. Clothes n belongings from past guests in dressers and under the bed hadn't been cleaned

I always stay here when I have a horse show in Harlansburg. It is a great no-frills motel that's run by a friendly family.
The property was ok and the staff was he lpful the room was good and it was quite the ice machine didn't have ice
With only $39 per night, it provides almost everything I needed, except for the poor reception of the wifi in the room.. However, the sfaff or the owner of that motel was really awesome when she lent her modem to solve the problem...
What do you expect when you pay less than $50 for a room? It was clean, & the bed was comfortable. That was all I can say good. There were 2 towels, no washcloths. The caulk in the bathroom was stained, cracked & pulling away from the wall. The bathtub drain was all rusty. The microwave was missing it's turntable. The doors had no chains (the second door went to the sidewalk outside). The blinds on the window didn't completely close. The room had an "off" odor that you had to adjust to. I didn't try the TV. The refrigerator was cool enough to keep my food fresh. The front desk clerk was friendly. It's not far off the interstate, about 5-7 miles, but the light to mark the entrance was blown out, so I missed it in the dark & had to turn around.
Liked nothing place was a dump . Yard not cut for months. Inside smelled and not cleaned properly.
It was just an old and run down place. Had to go to the front desk in the morning to get towels. Looked like the place has been using the same bedding since the 80s.
Great chill place to crash for the weekend. Check in/out lady was very nice. Facilities were ok but basically what was expected for the price.
There was bedbugs in the room. Staff provided a full refund with no question
