Colonial Inn Motel

This is an older motel in a small town. It's not as up to date as some of the newer motels in the area. But you have to remember, that is reflected in the price. The room I stayed in had a microwave and refrigerator, which is a bonus when you want to keep some cool or heat up something. I will stay there again when I'm in the area. For myself when I'm traveling, I'm just at the motel to sleep and get up early in the morning and get on my way. The motel is just a couple miles out of the town of Mercer if even that. But there are restaurants and the shopping outlets within a short ride. The staff is very nice and friendly.

This was the MOST Disgusting place I’ve ever stayed at. We got the jacuzzi room, it was filthy!!! We checked in late so we decided to stay because we had no where else to go. The sheets were not clean, there was hair in the bed and a DEAD DADDY LONG LEG SPIDER in the bed. There was a live stink bug crawling across the night stand. We slept on top of the blanket and froze. The place stunk. We went to the store to buy stuff to clean the tub, didn’t dare get in that thing with out cleaning it first... The lady at the desk was SO Rude. I showed her pictures and she wouldn’t do anything about it. She said “it was our fault for not coming to the desk and saying anything” it was 3 am and we were exhausted. We left drove half an hour away and I looked on my bank account app, and seen that they charged me TWICE!! 93 dollars!! I was so pissed I drove all the way back there, showed her and demanded a refund. I asked too look at the receipt. She wouldn’t let me see it at first and when I went to take a photo of it she came out from behind the desk and came at me for the receipt. Screaming at me and fighting me for it. She ripped it out of my hands. I was so upset I should of called the police.. they ended up refunding me for the second charge. This place needs to be shut down. It’s the worst experience I’ve ever had. We should of slept in the car.

The beds we're comfortable and service was great but the heater in the room was very loud, no shampoo and wash cloths, the door didn't lock as we left to go somewhere. The stopper in the bathtub didn't work.

The shower faucet was not working properly hot water valve not working so could not take a shower

The towels were rough and gray (should be white) and didn't have a hand towel or wash cloths. Soap was old and stuck to the paper. When we turned the heat on it sounded like a broken power saw, couldn't sleep with it on. I opened the refrigerator and it looked clean but the odor was horrible.

We checked in late night then also they were very cooperative, smile on their face at this late which we don’t usually at Motels. Highly appreciated. The best you can get at this price.

Nice place to stay and welcoming and it's situated near by the Grove city for shopping.

Quaint, quiet location. Great for the price. Pkeasant staff.

This property was def not worth the money. Granted I was there to sleep and shower but I am fairly certain there was a hoarder permanently living in the room next to the room I stayed. The key they gave me was pointless because it would not lock the door unless you were inside. Lastly the driveway was in need of repair badly. I will never stay here again.
