"You get what you pay for!"

4.0

I didn't have high expectations for the price of the room. Having said that just remember you get what you pay for. The room is not very well lit with just one lamp. The other lamp beside the bed didn't work. The bed was a little lumpy so I didn't sleep well. I had to ask for wash cloths because there weren't any provided. When I turned the water on to get a shower, there was no hot water. When I walked out of my room to go to the lobby, there was another gentleman going to ask the same question. she told us that she would call her brother-in-law and find out what to do. she came by my room after about 10 minutes and told me I needed to run the water for 15 minutes before it got hot. By that time I only had about 10 minutes before I needed to leave. I ended up leaving about 15 minutes later than what I had planned. On the positive side there were plenty of channels to watch and the air conditioner did work very well.

DO NOT CONSIDER! Didn't expect much for the price but only needed a place to sleep. Room filthy, smelled of smoke and musty; mould and bugs in bathroom, sheets looked slept in and pillows smelled stale, air conditioner was like sleeping underneath a diesel truck, even the soap had yellow edges and crusted off. Property not maintained, grass was knee high out front. Booked two nights, only stayed one and would have left had it not been late. Hotel staff said they could not refund our money for the second night cancellation as we had to go through Expedia. AWFUL

"Maybe the worst hotel I have ever stayed in"

2.0

Light switch has no effect upon entering the room. Turns out there are no ceiling lights. Bath controls come off in your hand. Towels are stained even when they are clean. I stayed in one hotel in Mongolia that was worse than this; you would get electric shocks while showering. That aside, this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at, in the whole entire world.

"Negative Five Star Hotel"

2.0

Travelocity should be embarrassed to even offer this hotel, rooms have outside entrance and sidewalks were not shoveled, rooms heater sounded like a bad Diesel engine running, bathroom tub/shower was nasty, soap from hotel was probably from WWII, the paper was stained and yucky, the towels about made me barf, they had stains all over them.

"Tragic Stay-Stay AWAY"

2.0

This was the worst place I have ever stayed in 56 yrs. The room was cold when I arrived, with no Kleenex, coffee maker, refig was off, EVERYTHING was circa 1980 and stained: the rug, linens, ceiling,. half the lights did not work, refrig and microwave was ridiculously small and old. Towels were small and very rough, no wash clothes, no way to wash your face at the sink or take a bath as both stoppers were missing. NO one was ever at the front desk as the owners lived upstairs and stayed there. Hallway reeked of Indian food. No breakfast was offered...PERIOD, not even coffee and the nearest town was 2 mi away. No map or business list in the room to indict where you were and what was available in the area, not even a phone book. We got 8" of snow and the property was not plowed which made it dangerous to get in and out of the driveway......definitely not worth what I paid per night.

"Drive a little longer and stay somewhere else"

4.0

My wife and I had to stay hear because all hotels in Meadville area were booked. I know this is a motel in a rural area so my expectations were not high and this place did not disappoint. Other than the room being good sized it lacks in all other areas. What disappointed me the most was the check in process. Upon checking in the front desk manager told me that someone called and changed my room from a queen to 2 double beds and that there would be an increase in price. When I asked who called she stated it was a women. NO WOMEN (or anyone else) CALLED. I showed the front desk manager my confirmation information from Hotels.com and she reimbursed me for the additional cost. Word of warning - bring your confirmation information with you when staying here - better yet DO NOT stay here. Its better to drive 20 minutes further and pay a little bit more for better accommodations, in a better area with honest employees.

"Avoid!"

2.0

My husband and I booked a room for a two night stay while visiting friends at a nearby campground. We did not expect luxurious accommodations for the price, but this place should not be in business. The room was dark and dingy. One lamp worked, the other was at an outlet that did not work. The other working outlet had the tv, cable box, microwave and refrigerator plugged into it. The carpet was old and dirty. The bed was made with two top sheets (no fitted sheet on bottom). One of the two lights in the bathroom was not working. Bathroom and fixtures looked like they were circa 1950. Bathroom had dust and dirt in all the corners. I have used rags that were in better condition than the bath towels there. No hand towels or wash cloths were provided. Room was not serviced: wet bath towels were not replaced after first night. I guess that's why there was a coin operated washer and dryer in the ice machine/vending machine room. Room had two entrances, one to motel hallway and one to outside. A car was parked in front of our outside door for both days. It never moved (disabled?). This meant that the occupants of the room beside us parked in front of their room, and those in the next two rooms did the same which meant we had to park far away from our room. Why there were this many people at a place like this was beyond me. Never again! We only stuck it out because we were visiting friends at their campground. When we were at their trailer, it was like being at a 5 star hotel compared to this place! I don't even feel this place rates any stars, but apparently have to in order to submit this review.
