There where flys in the room 100s it was beyond disgusting the taps in the bathroom where from the 90s leaking and the bath was for somkne about 4 foot tall

2 hours before we were due to check in, the OYO company called to inform us that our reservation had been cancelled "due to unforeseen circumstances". We were already on our way to Durham and when I explained we had nowhere else to stay for the night and couldn't return home, no alternative accommodation was provided. OYO put us in a very stressful situation with no offer to help or resolve an issue they had caused. I had also paid for the room in full which has since taken 3 weeks to process and refund. Would definitely not recommend staying here.

George the staff was helpful

The sheets weren't clean. There was only one plug so one of the bedside lights was fine, the other couldn't be switched on. No remote for the TV. Electric shower with only a trickle of water (the water pressure in the taps was strong so that's not the issue). The toilet had a macerator noisy enough to wake the other guests too. No doubt a macerator was necessary, just that for the price we paid the whole package was poor value. Travelodge at Marriott prices. Location 20 minutes by bus or 10 minutes by car from the centre.

"Overall good but no breakfast would put me off returning here again"

Accommodation was basic but clean and comfortable

Breakfast option as I was attending a run and need breakfast before I run so this made organising my own breakfast elsewhere a bit of a chore as I didn't know the local area. Tv was very small and didn't work properly
