The single bed collapsed as soon as I moved it to put a plug in a socket, no milk left for the tea / coffee

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Lovely, clean room Restaurant nice and food amazing

It was not a Boutique hotel. It was simply a bog standard guest house.

There was a horribly loud noise in the room, I was told it is the kitchen extractor as cooking, will go off at 2130. 2130 reduced to half level but continued throughout the night. Around 630am it went back up 100%. I did not get much sleep and was extremely tired. Not sure if I can add videos on this review will try. When I got there the front door was locked. A sign outside said lunch break. The number on booking.com did not work. However the number on the note worked. I called and someone came right away. The only downstairs was it was beginning to rain and you look a bit lost waiting outside. When I got in the lady had to call someone to confirm a booking had been done. I left for a walk and as I walked to the main door through the restaurant the man ( seemed to be manager) was absolutely shocked to see me. He stopped serving the client at the bar and stopped me in my tracks to say - can I help you? He looked completely shocked to see me, ps I am black and I stood out. This was completely demeaning. I just said I am staying the night and then proceeded but it was such a bad experience for me The sockets in the room were not great Bed was comfortable Linen was clean Good size room
