Greats hosts, service and location. Old property with character but clean and comfortable with everything needed for a great stay.

Great food in a beautiful location and an old style pub with wonderful garden patio.

The staff were all pleasant and friendly and the food and drink available is great. The young lady who met us at sign-in was pleasant, but a tad over-keen to extract our money before we even saw our room !

Shower and tiles need up dating

What you would expect from a early 1800's pub/inn. Full of character. Room small but comfortable and clean. Good tasty breakfast and friendly staff.

The room was clean and tidy, bed was comfy. Food and fire in the bar downstairs were perfect. I was a little disappointed with the shower pressure, but I was still clean at the end! Would definitely visit again.

Very friendly welcome in a very crowded late lunchtime Sunday bar/restaurant. Even the customers asked us if we were being seen to. Excellent breakfast cooked for us with super ingredients. Will return.

One night stop over in comfortable bedroom where our dog was allowed to stay in the room. Ate in the bar in the evening which was busy with locals as well as a few tourists - there was a good choice of dishes and our food was all fresh produce and perfectly cooked. Superb hearty cooked breakfast in the morning rounded everything off. Highly recommend.

On arrival we were given a warm and friendly reception. The room was very clean and had all we needed for our weekend stay. We had an excellent dinner on the first evening from an extensive menu. Breakfast on each morning was very good with friendly service. Altogether a memorable stay in a friendly hospitable country inn.
