The Highdown Inn

Very warm welcome and all the staff friendly and helpful. Food delicious and and just what we wanted. Very tasty breakfast with local produce served in the tea room. Comfy bed, however the room was generally cold. No heating in the small shower room and no hooks for towels which was awkward. Two radiators in the room but only one worked. The other was inconsistent. Stairs to room were steep and narrow and we did see another guest struggle with a suitcase. The room and breakfast was £98 which was more expensive than equivalent and better accomodation during our stay 11 night on the island.

Comfortable, well appointed bedroom with twin beds. Delicious breakfast with fantastic smoked salmon, locally sourced. Friendly and efficient service. Great visit to a peaceful location.

Friendly pub with great food.

We liked the fact, it's close to the needles and that there is a pub. We werebike packing the Isle of Wight and arrived late. There is a place to store the bikes, you will need a lock tough.

Beautiful comfy clean room. Delicious food after a day cycling around the island. Blonde lady in restaurant very welcoming (sorry don’t catch your name)

The Highdown Inn crew could not have been more welcoming or friendly, nothing was too much bother even though they were really busy with the August rush

Staff were accommodating and friendly. Cleaners provided fresh towels daily and fresh cups for tea/coffee making facilities in bedroom. Wifi was too slow. Bathroom showers needed something to stop water from flowing out shower and into the bathroom floor.. shower curtain did not stop this. Breakfast was excellent.

Very nice location, the staff were all very friendly. The room was nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. The food was excellent offering a wide choice for both dinner and breakfast..
