Needed secure biking for electric bikes. They had a a bike shed and the bikes were not stolen.

I loved the room I was given, which was situated on the corner by the car park entrance and next to the lane which goes up to Tennyson's Monument car park. Such a pretty room with dual aspect windows. I even watched a fox go out for the evening whilst sitting in bed! I was unable to stay for breakfast the next morning but the hosts kindly made me up a sandwich to take with me. A very pleasant stay in a lovely location.

I was well cared for and they did their best to satisfy my needs.

My wife and I have visited The Highdown many times. It is in a quiet setting, close to local places of interest for walkers and sightseers. The locals are a friendly bunch and the staff are welcoming and attentive. If we are in the area we always put in an appearance or two. It is a Real Ale pub, so you will see some interesting beers on offer and if you are eating there I recommend that you try out the homemade pie if it is on the menu. The view from Room One is best but don't tell anyone!

Had a great stay. Very comfy room and great pub downstairs (good range of food options too). Staff very friendly! If I'm back in that part of the island will be back.
