The Highdown Inn

Good location. Dinner was good but there was limited choice because they had had a busy day and a lot of dishes were sold out. Breakfast was good. Room was comfortable but bathroom was a little tired. Staff were friendly but very busy.

Friendly staff, room was bright and clean. Nice view to wake up to. Tea, coffee & water in room was a nice touch. Breakfast was really good. Would recommend booking a table in restaurant if staying at the weekend, food was delicious!

We really enjoyed our stay at The Highdown Inn. Our room was cosy, comfortable and clean. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. The food was yummy. You really need a car as there are no pavements for walking anywhere from the hotel!

A lovely friendly village Inn with chatty knowledgeable staff & a very comfortable bedroom & most importantly high quality bedding!! A very peaceful location with excellent private carpark & walking access on the cliff along to The Needles. Morning breakfast was also a firm 9/10 with their pub food also having superb local fish dishes & a full vegan / vegetarian menu also. Definitely will return here.

We loved our short stay here. The staff were all so friendly. The food was delicious. Steak and ale pie with lovely chips. Good selection of ales for a fairly small pub. Accommodation included nice extras such as cookies and bottled water which were a nice touch. Friendly locals too, I would recommend the quiz on a Sunday evening! You'll be made to feel welcome!

Couldn't find any fault at all with this property. It really ticked all my boxes. Lovely quiet picturesque location. Excellent friendly staff. The room was clean and comfortable. The selection of food was great and when it arrived it was delicious. Also choice of three real ales. Can't praise this place enough.

Very friendly landlady and staff.We had our dog with us and there was easy access to some wonderful walks,all close to the Inn. Only 3 rooms and ours suited us best with a large bathroom and bath,very comfortable beds. Decor a little tired in the bathroom and hall carpet could be replaced but that doesnt worry us . Lovely freshly cooked breakfasts
