The hotel was extremely clean. Like walking back in time. Excellent breakfast

The mattress was very soft.

Great hotel in the lovely town of Porlock. We were made to feel right at home on arrival and the rooms were clean and quiet with lovely views. All the staff we met were helpful and friendly. Also great to be able to order a packed lunch for our coastal walk and the breakfast was delicious. Would stay again if I visit Porlock again.

The room was very comfortable, the owners SO welcoming, especially to our border collie Kip, breakfast was stunning and the evening meals always superb. No reservations and we'll be back!

Staff were friendly, lovely breakfast, in fact all was great apart from one (important) factor

Unfortunately the beds in the twin room just weren't up to scratch. The mattress was cheap, thin, and not in keeping with the general excellent of the staff and hotel. An awful nights sleep for both me and my fellow walker. Such a shame as the rest of the hotel was lovely.

Easy check in. Given fresh milk. Right on the path we were walking.

Clean, comfortable, and well kept. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was perfect and very picturesque.
