Bed was comfy, convenient parking

Window was broken, had to use a glasses case to prop it open radiator thermostat didn’t work so room was too hot 🥵 very run down and basic. Poor decor mucky marks on walls and doors. No breakfast option offered.

Easy reach of Whitby

Rubbish WiFi, poor water pressure in the bathroom

Basic accommodation but perfect just to spend the night on our travels. Nice and clean and comfortable

Not much to like. The guy behind the bar was very pleasant. Felt sorry for him trying his best in a bad situation

Where to start. We had planned to eat at the pub, however on arrival about 4 pm. We were told there was no food as the chef hadnt turned up. The place was cold no fires lit apparently no duty managers turned up either. People had gone out to fish shop nearby and brought them into pub. The heating in the room was just coming on and when we came back later the room was nice and warm. The rooms were not very clean. Thin duvet and pillows, furnitures Duffy. Window cracked. No breakfasts on offer

Location good for visit to NYMR at Grosmont

No food served on Tuesday evening. On return at 8pm ISH, access door locked and bar appeared to be closed. No one about. Evidence of cobwebs on walls in bedroom and bathroom. No chair in room. Heating was good though.
