Nothing, the pub was fine and served excellent food and beer

no meals available on nights we stayed. also no breakfast available claims to have extra large beds I don't agree. bed approx 12 inches high making it difficult to get out. no seats in room but provided with chair from bar. it became apparent that we were the only people in the hotel overnight and we were obliged to let ourselves out of the hotel when we came to leave

No dinner or breakfast available. Very uncomfortable and squeeky bed. Poor bathroom - all needs updating.

The room was unsafe really. The sink tap was loose, shower unit was coming off the wall, large crack in window and if I’d of pushed with a finger would of broken. No hand towel in bathroom to dry hands. The corridor leading to rooms was dirty, especially the doors.

The room was disgusting. Dirty toilet - had to clean it before it could be used. Even after wiping down there were still marks in the bowl Stains on the radiator Broken window frame and lock Dirty kettle with water left in it Bracket for hanging clothes coming off the wall Stain on the curtain Stains on sheets Dirty carpets I have images of everything except the sheets We left without staying. Didn't want to complain as we had already paid so getting our money back would probably have been a lost cause
GBStaff were great nice helpful , the food was good yhe only let down was the bed very hard & flat pillows . Parking was good

GBWe had chosen the place for the location as it was on the bus route to Whitby. The young man who checked us in was very pleasant.
The room itself was fairly clean, although it didn't smell very fresh. The corridor and staircase was very dirty. It was a cheap place, however I feel it doesn't matter how much it cost, it should be clean and presentable. There was a rumbly buzzing noise from downstairs all night. I wonder how often places are checked by booking.com?
