Merchants Manor

Lovely hotel, with period features. Few minor issues in room such a loose tap, reported to reception. Breakfast really nice. Good if they allowed dogs in bar area as they are only allowed in room, so not really dog friendly. Gym is equipped with good machines, pool looks a bit tired.

Very helpful staff. Room a bit basic but comfortable. Gym handy. Nice walk to the town. Would stay here again.

Great stay and environment. Can't fault the fantastic service given. The Gym was awesome.

The only thing I really have to say is that it would have been nice to have been told that the hotel had changed its name to The Merchant, we spent a long time and used petrol trying to find a hotel that no longer existed. Eventually we called them and they told us it had changed name!
