Palazzo Pensionne

By far the best pension I have stayed in 3 years living here in Philippines. These Folks are great. I read prior reviews claiming dogs barking , roosters crowing well folks Welcome To the Philippines. The place was Great, Affordable, Clean and very inviteing. Yes they are doing some construction there but that is NO reason to cry negative about them they are improving for YOUR stay. It was quiet and off the beaten trail a bit but my advice is get their business card so you can show your taxi driver where they are located when you are returning. Other then that I would choose Palazzo for my every visit to Cebu and I am a American as well. For all you others that are complaining well sorry to say I never encountered a 5 star hotel with these rates so spend more and get more or be content this is a BARGIN place with 5 star accomidations.

a great family owned and operated budget operation. very friendly and helpful staff to assist and answer all your needs. everything was perfect except maybe if they had cable tv .....?

We enjoyed our stay at the Palazzo. We were able to rent a mini refrigerator for our room which was nice to have. The room is clean and perfect size for the price. We would like to see a coin-operated washer and dryer for the guests to use at the hotel. The outsource laundry is slow and does not offer dry cleaning. The hotel staff is very friendly and quick to respond with good food service. Nice free breakfast. We will come back to the Palazzo.

The location is good because it is close to the famous places in Cebu. Before I booked my reservation I read a lot of reviews that their staffs are accommodating and friendly but they weren't. We asked one of their staff to take a picture of us before we leave the hotel but we waited for nothing. She just ignored us, so in the end we just took our own pictures in solo. Probably those people that they were referring is no longer working there :-(

I like this hotel with its friendly staff and cordial greeting. They treat guests like family members. The hotel is nestled quitely from the busy streets but that won't keep you from visiting cebu spots as taxis roam around and most drivers know the place. The hotel ambiance is warm and cozy; you'd like you're in your home. One thing I quite doesn't like much are the sheets and covers of bed and blankets to the towels. They're quite cold as they seem to be too used; maybe bec of the price you pay. It would be a 5 for me if this will improve. I surely would come back to the hotel in my future visits and would recommend the place.

The staff is friendly and nice. They helped if we needed any help for example with ferry schedules. Breakfast was included. The room was clean and nice, with big TV and wifi. The hot water mixer in the shower was not working so you'd had to wash yourself either icecold or damn hot water... They had a bit noisy redecoration going on there, which we didn't know beforehand, but it wasn't a problem with sleeping.

Palazzo staff are pleasant and helpful but not at all sophisticated in their own field. Any question pertaining to subjects out side the Physical hotel will be met with a look somewhere between Puzzled and 'Deer caught in the headlights". The location is described as " in a quiet neighborhood". To Philippino's it might seem so.To you and I It's in residential area with narrow streets, ubiquitous barking dogs, crowing roosters, noisy vendors, and loud tricycles. The room was nice, comfy bed, good hot water, good T.V. (lousy channel selection) and clean. BUT, 2 get to my room I had to walk past the reception desk, thru the dining /Kitchen room, out to a local clothes washing common area, thru a function room, up three flights of stairs. Would I stay there again? Yeah, because where in the Philippines can you find a place in that price range with out those usual complaints? FOOD? Barf-- order take out from the usual Places. Yellow cab pizza was good. Expect an hour for delivery from any of them.

Cebu City is not a very nice place, but this hotel is ok. It was quite cheap for two peopleand it was totally worth. With aircon, and it was clean and comfortable. The reception lady was not the nicest and the breakfast was terrible, but for one night totally ok for that price.

I love palazzo pensionne and I will stay here everytime i go to cebu! It is close to all, the bed is so comfy, the room is clean and the staffs are very friendly. It is not located on the main road(it's very quiet at night so you can sleep peacefully) but that's ok with us, because they can call you a cab whenever u need it! I already recommended this to my friends and I told them they wont regret it! the price is soo cheap and breakfast is already included!
