Palazzo Pensionne

This hotel has nice rooms, but our stay was affected by the poor staff, for example it took 40 minutes before we got our food, even when we were the only ones in the restaurant! We also checked the price in the reception for staying one night extra, but ended up booking online since that was cheaper!

Walking distance of old Cebu (10 mins to Casa Gorordo). Not a fantastic neighbourhood but Cebu taxis inexpensive if you want to avoid walking. Excellent breakfast choices, lovely staff, quiet for a good night's sleep.

I was in a more expensive hotel (hotel henry). This hotel however had a nice family atmosphere. They knew me very well, they were concerned for my safety and comfort. Staff were very approachable. Its a cheap place but it had everything the other hotels have. Maybe the rooms are a bit smaller though. Its nicely located. The surrounding streets are pleasant to walk around. Theres usually a taxi hanging around outside. Breakfast is free.

I would stay again for one night if need be. It's not like I would go crazy for it. But staff and food would bring me back

No complaints. Cheaper than other hotels and you get what you pay for. I prefer a place with a pool and will spend the extra dollars next time. We enjoyed our stay

The Palazzo Pensionne is located near the Ayala Center and not far from Robinsons. The Qualityof the rooms is Ok.Will stay there again when I go to Cebu

I stay there for one night only, the room I booked was not available, but get an free upgrade. The breakfast is include. I will stay there again, when go back to Cebu.

the facade needs some painting, so when you arrive you think you made a mistake. But inside, its a slice of heaven

Staff were helpful and attentive, room was bigger than average being out of the main city a little. A 10 minute php 50 taxi ride gets you to the thick of city attractions, that's about $0,50 so not a major issue. Ideal for younger travelers who don't mind rooms not being 5* . Overall it is very good value and the area is safe and quiet. 7/10 from me.
