Casa Catrina

Staff was amazing; spotless and great location. We had upstairs room-very quiet. The side trips the hotel offered were worked well with hotel pickup.

An outstanding hotel in a great location. The room was very large and quiet. Wood beams on the ceiling and stucco walls gave it a local feeling. Large bathroom with plenty of hot water. Freshly cooked breakfast with good choices were delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Lovely hotel and room including an excellent location that’s easy walking distance to all of the historic center. Our room including the bathroom was spacious, quiet, clean and very attractive. Excellent and friendly staff. We would definitely return to Casa Catrina

The food, service, staff and room were all excellent. The hotel is also located in the central part of Oaxaca. All the wonderful sea sites to see are located in this historic section.

The hotel was centrally located so we could easily walk to many nearby attractions. Breakfast was excellent! All freshly made and abundant. It was great to start our day with this meal. Service by the morning staff was also wonderful, especially the lady who received us when we arrived early on our first day. She was so kind and provided us coffee and tips/maps of the area for exploring. We were also able to leave our bags there before our check-in time and after check-out. Gracias!

While our room was nice it didn't have an outdoor window. It was also right next to the kitchen/restaurant so we could hear everything. There were also mosquitos in the room. The staff gave us something to ward them off but we still got bit by them :(

Fabulous location. Wonderful staff who really want to help. We loved the whole vibe. Very authentic. Breakfast on our terrace every day was a real treat. Highly recommend unless you want 5 star polished, modern chic - this place is authentic Mexican charm!

Great smaller hotel, with excellent breakfast and large rooms. Family style feel with all the staff super helpful. Excellent location walkable to all things in Oaxaca.

Lovely old house beautiful furnishings in our room and a good breakfast!

I was disappointed with the lack of facilities, we had read about a bar, which was permanently closed and any extras were booked externally. Also it was disappointing to arrive to a young lady with no English, be given our room key and no welcome at all. But this changed when Anna came on duty in the morning.

in the morning a little loud as the room was right next to the street, but as the windows are good it was no problem
