Just back from a week's stay at Casa Catrina. - our first visit to Oaxaca. We were in the Verde room with access to the lovely terrace/view. Room and bathroom were very comfortable. Housekeeping came in every day to freshen and clean. The location is perfect, a little quieter with an easy walk down to the Centro. We took advantage of the terrace for breakfast every day. The continental breakfast of coffee, beautiful fruit, sweet rolls is nice - and we added delicious eggs to really hold us. The staff is incredibly helpful and accommodating, especially Anna. We so appreciated the flexibility when at the last minute, the airline had to rebook us and delayed our arrival for two days. I contacted the hotel in a panic realizing this could have really upended our trip, but the hotel moved our reservation without penalty and offered us a different room for the final night since there was someone else arriving. Highly recommend this lovely hotel.

Staff were really very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was a treat.

Casa Catrina is a first rate property run by caring, competent people. They satisfied every request we had promptly and with a smile. We enthusiastically recommend them!

They had everything I needed, even extra pillows on arrival. The room was enormous and spotless. I had a beautiful veranda, tasteful decorations and delicious breakfast. The staff are so kind and accommodating and eager to help. I will stay here every time I go to Oaxaca.

The staff are super friendly and the food is excellent. There was a problem with the hot water one morning, but otherwise the shower was excellent. I will definitely be back when I come to Oaxaca.

Excelentes instalaciones y la atención del personal súper cálidos y atentos ! Lo único en que haría énfasis es en el ruido de las habitaciones que dan a la calle creo que sería necesario que pongan ventanas anti ruido de ahí en fuera todo maravilloso

Comfortable, clean, friendly, great location near the center of the old town. Great breakfasts with included. Oaxaca is a great place to visit with so much to see and do. Don’t cut the visit short - you need at lease 4-5 days for the experience. Oaxaca is also an art lover and foodie paradise.
