Casa Catrina was the perfect hotel for our visit to Oaxaca. They took such good care of our large group. The food and service were excellent. Most impressive was the warm service and attention to detail. Staff answered questions and provided assistance with everything we needed. A special shout out to Ana who was so very helpful, cheerful, and full of love. Gracias!

Great hospitality! The entire staff from the management to the cook, cleaning and wait staff were fantastic. The food was home made. The location of Casa Catrina is in a great location for tourism. Many restaurants, bar and shopping, all walking distance. The streets are safe to walk around at all hours of the night.

Beautiful and traditional property in a perfect location. The best part was the outstanding service from the staff. Everyone was so friendly and made our stay very pleasant. We definitely recommend this place.

The helpful staff, great location very close to all the historic city sites without being next door to the loud late night noisy bars.

We wish it had an interior garden, otherwise a perfect place to stay.

This is a lovely, small hotel in the very best location in Oaxaca. Great service, very attentive. We stayed in the suite with a terrace — a huge room, a huge terrace big enough for a party. Great views. There is a bit of road noise, but nothing that disturbed us. We’d come back.

This is a beautiful very small hotel, in the best location for central Oaxaca’s sights and amazing food/culture. We stayed in the large suite with terrace overlooking the mountains — big enough to have a party. The hotel staff was very helpful and attentive.

The traffic noise on the front-facing rooms (there are only about six rooms in the hotel) started pretty early in the am. The air conditioning fan wouldn’t go to the low, quieter setting. But these are small points and didn’t affect our stay.

The room was great, featuring a big terrace. The location was central, safe and convenient to walk everywhere. The staff was really friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was a highlight too.
