Ramada Resort by Wyndham Dead Sea

The hotel looks even better than in photos. The receptionist upgraded my room to a larger one, free of charge.

When we arrived to check in, I was told my booking could not be located even though it was prepaid. It did not take them long to call and locate my booking and room was assigned to us. We had a drink at the Hotel bar and the chap on duty was unfriendly and sour. We ordered room service. After waiting for 50 mins, I called them up to remind them. Another 20 mins went by and I went down to the reception and asked for our sandwich and burger. The manager was apologetic but it did not help our mood when the food finally arrived (after having to wait for 1.5 hours) and to find that that the French fries were cold and soggy plus a luke warm charred dried burger. Was disgusting.

Nice place and shuttle provided to visit Dead Sea with amenities there. Breakfast was excellent. However slow in welcoming and the AC wasn’t working up to full potential in the room despite calling multiple times. Also the flush was leaking almost everywhere which I felt is a lot of water being wasted.

Staff was wonderful, amenities fabulous (both seaside and pool side), as well as a delicious spread for their buffet. Wish that we had planned enough time to spend another night.

Amazing stay at dead sea. Its a good poperty, well kept and with good breakfast , lunch dinner buffet. Service is little slow .

Simple hotel, no more than 3 star quality. Food was decent; dead sea beach is far away and we used shuttle. OK for to 2 night stay.

Big rooms, comfortable beds. Everything was clean and well maintained. Cleaning staff were very friendly and good at their jobs. Restaurant service was slow, food seemed to run out early for both breakfast and dinner and not be replaced . There was still a choice, just not as varied as the earliest sittings. Generally though it was value for money and a well situated resort.

-We paid for extra bed which was never given -A/C didn’t work for 2 days(room temp was set to 15 Celsius but room felt like 40 Celsius) - when booking thru ORBITZ we requested adjoining room but the hotel told none available though our arrival to hotel was 5 days after our booking. But after hours of suffering and complaints we were moved to adjoining rooms! -Duty manager ( Mr. Alaa Darwish) never listened to my complaints.He was always ready to reply with executes and never to listen. Never heard single apology spoken from his side even as a courtesy. He and Mr Shadi( receptionist) had contradicting statements about why the AC was not working. -food was below acceptable and lacked variety. - we were told that children of 13 years old are free to eat but we were charged for the food ( didn’t notice till before check out) -2nd day and while eating we were requested to pay the meal on the spot and they said it has to done right there and then( rude). The restaurant manager was looking so shabby and not dressed properly( his own clothes and taste) and he never asked any one how things are! - we booked 2 rooms for 2 nights but I wish we chose a different hotel. - Ramada( 4 stars they say!)had no decent customer service, the water kettle were so dirty that I took pictures of, room phones were not working or had cut wires, old TV sets and nonfunctional tv channels , face towels were available in one room and on the 2nd they were missing from both rooms & many more

Hotel was great. Staff were pleasant. Food from room service was delicious. Our only complaint was that the “ beach “ was littered with so much garbage that is was unpleasant. The free “ Dead Sea mud “ however was a lot of fun.

Spacious rooms, bed were incredibly comfortable, massage in the spa was fantastic (although not a private room - shared with one other lady but was a busy mothers day special and I booked last minute), dead sea was amazing, the room service process may need a little bit of work for times and combine the food and drinks line to be one. Abdullah at the front desk was lovely along with the gift shop lady. The hotel seems a little out of the way when you re driving there however as the neighbors are small farms there is basically no noise and great spot to have a relax and recharge! we stayed after an action packed trip to Petra and took advantage of most of the facilities which all were great!
