This is such a wonderful place. Close enough to the city but away from the chaos. It has the best view and the atmosphere is like staying with old friends

Pensione Bencista is an old villa in Fiesole in need of upgrading. Our room was small with a small window overlooking Firenze. The bed was average in terms of comfort and is in need of upgrading. The bathroom is tiny and barely accommodates one guest especially the shower. The receptionist who checked us in sat behind the desk, never rose to open the door for us nor offered to help us with our luggage. Breakfast is not included. A plus is the complimentary shuttle in the evening to dining establishments in the main square. Would I stay here again? No. Would I recommend it to others? No.

We were here 14 years ago and loved it. It’s a jewel property with magnificent views.

All of the staff at Pencione Bencista go above and beyond to make sure you are well taken care of. Exceptional property with amazing views and the most helpful and attentive staff.

Charming Pensione located out of town and only a short bus ride away.

This was our second visit, a special Pensione overlooking Florence. It is a shame an evening meal is no longer available but a shuttle service into Fiesole is provided.

We had a delightful 3 nights at this Pensione, catching the No. 7 bus down into Florence each day. The breakfasts were delicious, particularly when accompanied by the expansive view over the city in the distance. The staff were delightful and extremely helpful. I can recommend this.
