The Peacock Hotel

We booked a coach house room to be told we couldn’t have it on arrival. Not the 1st time this has happened! The room we were given was clean enough, but very dated, The wallpaper is pealing in places and the bathroom is not the best! The grouting needs cleaning/replacing as do the backs of the bath taps. The tv is stuck in a unit which makes it difficult to watch. This place is stuck in the 1980’s and needs bringing into the 21st century. It feels like a back street inner city hotel, not a Hotel on the Main Street in the tourist town of Kenilworth. The staff are helpful but don’t really understand English or speak it.

We stayed here for two nights I’ll start with the good bits The location was great for where we needed to be this weekend Breakfast was good Now for the not so good We stayed in room 304 around the back of the hotel which at first looked a nice and pleasant room But the bathroom was not clean, the floor was dirty and the skirting was dirty and dusty, shower needed a good clean as well There was a little electric radiator which barely kept the room warm, There was no soundproofing from the room above and the floor creaked very loudly when the occupants were walking around and they were early risers as had us awake at 4am on both mornings not the occupants fault but the fault of the hotel. The TV only played bbc 1 we did ask but told no that was the only channel you could watch We had the family room as there were three of us but only two towels in the bathroom and only two small bottles Of water and only two cups for a hot drink, so whilst it was a family room they only catered for two people

Staff friendly. Breakfast additional cost but fine. Room was 'ok' booked the superior room but cracked raised tile to bathroom entrance, no heating on for first night so felt cold. Noisy even during the early hours of the morning.

An excellent stay. Superb food, extremely clean and comfortable room. A very warm and friendly welcome . Very attractive dining room and bar. Free car parking at the back if the hotel. Knocks spots off Premier Inn. Go there, enjoy. We did and we are coming back.

During my stay at Peacock Hotel, I was impressed by the combination of luxury and comfort. From the moment I arrived, the staff greeted me with warm hospitality and professionalism, setting the tone for a relaxing visit. I had a very good experience from the hotel. The services and the facilities provided were really good and everyone enjoyed the experience and will surely recommend to others. The temperature in the room kept us really warm and all together was awesome

Nice Clean and convenient with Parking, the bathroom as with most hotels needs a bit of attention.

Small and functional hotel, if a little tired. Ideal for what I needed. Breakfast was excellent and service from Pera was too.

I had an attic room, which could have been really cosy and comfortable. With a deep clean and a new mattress, this would be a lovely place to stay.
