To eat breakfast and/or dinner at the hotel, a reservation must be made at time of booking. Also, please inform the hotel in advance if you have booked 2 or more rooms and your group wishes to have dinner at the same time. Please note that requests on the day of arrival will not be accepted. Breakfast is served until 08:30. After this time, meals will not be served and no refund will be given. Please note the hotel does not provide free transport shuttles. Please note that adult rates are applicable to children 7 years and older. Please contact the property for more details. By bus: Take the bus bound for either Jozankei or Hoheikyo-onsen from Sapporo Station's Bus Terminal 12. Get off at Jozankei Jinja Mae bus stop, about 80 minutes from Sapporo Station. Kappa Liner express bus is also available from the station. The property is a 2-minute walk from the bus stop. By car: Drive for about 60 minutes towards Nakayama-toge from Sapporo City.Guests with tattoos may not be permitted to use the property’s public bathing areas or other facilities where the tattoos might be visible to other guests. Guests must check in by 19:00 to eat dinner at this property. Guests checking in after this time may not be served dinner, and no refund will be given. A deposit may be required at the property.

Amazing Ryokan! The best I have ever stayed. I was surprised by the amount of food served during dinner. Stayed here for a total of 3 nights, as a small eater, every dinner I had to stuff all the delicious food into my tummy. The waitresses were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. The lounge is the highlight. It was a perfect place to unwind with beer, snacks, desserts and music. It has a beautiful gorge view too! The indoor and outdoor bath were well maintained. But indoor bath was super hot. My family would like to stay here again!

"Great service and never get hungry in the resort as food & drinks offered is pleanty"

We ordered the Golden Package, therefore, all means are arranged. And we get to experience the authentic japanese fine dining.

Location is a bit far away from airport.

Very disappointing experience. There was no staff available to help with luggage, which is unacceptable for a hotel of this standard. The onsen is not included and requires an additional payment, which was not clearly communicated. The worst part was the lack of privacy and professionalism. A female staff member opened the onsen door without knocking while we were completely naked. This was extremely uncomfortable and inappropriate. Overall, very bad service and poor management. I would not recommend this hotel.
