Four Seasons Baltimore

Our first hour there was a little rocky but they more than made up for it the rest of the trip. We must have arrived at a very busy time because no one greeted us upon arrival or helped with luggage which is definitely not typical at Four Seasons, and then there was a little snafu with some pre-ordered room treats to surprise my family. That said, I’m giving them five stars because they more than made up for it after the first couple of hours. Four Seasons Baltimore is definitely worth coming back to!! Service was friendly and excellent! They also sent in a make-up sweet treats plate to make up for the other one and helped us celebrate something extremely important and special. I loved the doorman, he was friendly, funny and always took care of us. The room was immaculate and housekeeping staff was fast and friendly! Room service presentation was nice and the delivery staff are friendly and professional. Definitely recommend a harbor view. From our window, it reminded me of our time in Sydney. Extra bonus: we are from SF and are SF Giants fans. The team happened to there while they played the Orioles! I’d be happy to stay here again and highly recommend it.

I honestly think it's hard for an already great hotel to get better--the spaces and facilities are what they are (and they are awesome here). The only variable that has true movement is the guest experience. From check in through check out, every staff member I came into contact with made me feel welcome, and taken care of--in a very personal and informal (non-scripted) way. Everything I experienced from the front desk to housekeeping to the spa to room service was seamless and integrated. While I think (emphasis on 'think)' the hotel was quite busy (with weddings and the like), it did not, at all, 'feel' this way to me. Examples being--the arrival staff making sure my car was quickly handled, despite a true traffic jam at the front of the hotel when I got there, or the front desk making sure I was happy with my accommodations, or the spa attendants consistently checking the amenities, or the room service server making sure my unique order was properly filled. These may seem like trivial details, but for me, it is what separates the good from the great luxury hotels, especially when one flows seamlessly into the next. I am a huge Four Seasons fan, and I maintain that this property is the hidden gem in their portfolio. Despite being a city hotel, the feel in the summer is resort-like ( a great pool area overlooking the Harbor), and in the non-summer months, the Water Experience at the spa easily compensates. But it is the staff that makes the difference, and I'm happy to say, from years of experience here, that just keeps getting better.

We stayed at the Four Seasons Baltimore to celebrate my husband’s 40th birthday, and the experience was truly exceptional. I reached out in advance to see if a small birthday surprise could be arranged. Due to my husband’s allergies and some travel delays, I ultimately let the team know we would need to pass—but expressed my gratitude for their help. When we arrived, I was completely blown away. Valerie Roberts, Director of Banquets & Food and Beverage, who I had been in contact with, went absolutely above and beyond. Waiting in our room was a generous and thoughtful surprise of vegan fruit tarts, sweets, prosecco, and a birthday message signed by the General Manager, Bahram Sepahi. It made my husband’s 40th birthday absolutely unforgettable. Our room was outstanding as well, with a beautiful harbor view that we enjoyed at sunset—it made the evening even more special. We are so grateful to Ms. Roberts and everyone on the team who made this possible. The thoughtfulness and attention to detail truly exemplify the exceptional hospitality and unparalleled luxury at the Four Seasons. We will remember this kindness for years to come.

I booked a night in a King suite at the Four Seasons to celebrate my birthday and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is beautiful and in a great location. The rooms are large and have wonderful amenities; you can’t beat the spa, and the customer service is unmatched. When checking in they had asked if we were celebrating anything and I shared that it was for my birthday. I was so delighted to find that they had a celebratory cake in the room upon arrival. It was a wonderful surprise. We’ll definitely be back.

We had a fantastic stay at the Four Seasons. Staff and service were exceptional. Our room was great. It overlooked the harbor, so the view was lovely. Rooms are well-appointed and spacious. Bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was perfect. There was a crayon on the floor, which gave me pause on the cleanliness, though other than that, the room seemed very clean. There is plenty of storage, but I can always appreciate more hooks. We utilized the spa, which was awesome, and appreciated the in-room dining. Our in-room dining server was extremely friendly and funny, which was nice, though our breakfast order was extremely delayed. At least it was good, which is more than I can say for the hotel's other offerings. The hotel restaurants, while elegant with fairly good service, provided food and libations that were mid, if I'm being generous. This was a celebratory stay, and nothing ruins that more than inferior food, which we experienced. Valets were friendly and funny, though they forgot to extend our parking, so we ended up with a ticket (which was adjudicated, but still, not something you expect from the Four Seasons). Overall, I do think this is an excellent hotel and I am definitely looking forward to returning, though I will absolutely be dining and drinking elsewhere.
