Luxuriant twin room and en-suite. Central location, car parking 2 mins walk away, competent and professional staff and fabulous breakfast. Wished we had eaten at the pub as the dishes looked incredible and every table was taken. And in this heatwave- very grateful for the air conditioning.

The room is clean and recently decorated. The downside is lacking natural light we had to have lights in in daylight hours

Large room big comdy bed and ultra clean. Not only the room but all. There is always something broken when i stay in a UK hotel but not the Globe..very good team . Great food. Airco troughout. Nice location.

Parking near hotel is a bit difficult without paying.

Recently refurbished, the bedrooms were excellent, aircon and L'occitane toiletries, the shower was excellent coupled with tea, coffee & biscuits - could not fault the rooms or location. As I say, the food (when it arrived) the rooms, location and refurbishment was excellent but the staff and "some" management staff do need further training.

Length of time to wait for breakfast/coffee each day, over an hour. Felt for the young staff as they needed a lot of training but this is a management issue not the young staff. We got the impression the staff were new and had not been adequately trained, some looking out of their depth which was not their fault but a criticism of the management. Breakfast when it arrived was very nice but took an hour on both days to arrive. Coupled with a sarcastic comment from the duty Manager on Sunday morning that we had not checked out of our room by 11.00a.m. my husband did not mention we had been waiting over an hour for our breakfast with reminders about our coffee did not make for a positive end of visit.

Newly refurbished to a really high standard with great facilities. Friendly and efficient welcome and service in the bar and breakfast room.
