Hotel Ristorante Cervo

- I was told to stay in the room even though the ceiling in the bathroom was leaking...Was told to leave the light out in the bathroom?!?!??? - Finally changed my room but did nothing for my inconvenience...Didn't even offer me a Coffee Espresso - Room was extremely tiny and out dated..Couldn't even fit in the Bed

It's technically within walking distance of the airport, but in reality only reachable by driveways (e.g. airport shuttle buses). The hotel is clean and well-maintained, the food is great and the staff are helpful.

Horrible service.. Before booking we called to ask how to get to the hotel from the airport and have been told that there was a hotel shuttle that could be sent to collect us. But once we got to the airport we called the hotel just to hear that there were no shuttle available.. and to either pay a taxi 20 euros to get to the hotel (for a less than 5mins drive), or to take an undescriptive bus with no name, no indication of where to take it and where to stop.. On top of this the room condition was not really good, quite old with a weird light switching system.. I will never return there and would not recommend this place to anybody.. horrible experience. Book any other hotel, there are just a few euros more and you will certainly get a better service than this place.

Good and cheap hotel close to airport. Don't expect anything special it's a budget type hotel. But for one night stay price definitely great.

Was given a ground floor room next to a half paved and dusty road, with no air-con n ventilation, so had to open windows, we found the window iron mesh broken thus shut it n did not really slept 😞

Just stayed one night. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The restaurant was good. I'll definitely stay there again.

Booked here at the last minute needing to visit the Milan Fiera to meet suppliers. With everything booked apart from the Sheraton Presidential Suite, I chose Hotel Ristorante Cervo because the Booking.com description of the hotel and especially the restaurant and breakfast photos showed what appeared to be a ‘hidden gem’. How disappointed we were at the reality. Now we’re we looking for a tired, bare, scruffy overnight stay, no problem, but we weren’t. In fairness the staff were charming and helpful and the food in the restaurant was well cooked and generous plus the bed was comfortable but breakfast? Just a typical, local coffee bar affair with a couple of croissants on offer, nothing like the gleaming pastries show on Booking.com. Really nothing positive to say about it other than saved a few calories and did have a quiet night ‘s sleep.

I made the mistake of booking a holiday to malpensa for 7dats with my young son,thinking I would be in Malpensa city. The hotel is 5 mins away from the airport so it was ideal. The first thing I asked at reception was for an area map and what places we could see and activities for my son. He responded,"there is NOTHING!" he was right I quick discovered that my online searches may have been misleading. I asked about transport and felt he was impatient and didn't know much about much,so not great customer service. The hotel room was very clean, but needs a renovation desperately. Our beds were pushed together to make a double so during the night we woukd have to constantly push them back. The room during the day was very cold,the heating is programmed to come on in the afternoon only. The restaurant was decent,food was good for the value. Your other option is another restaurant further down the road that was closed the couple of times we tried to eat there. The restaurant was closed on Sunday and there was no notices. For breakfast there is no other option but brioche and coffee/milk. Staff was friendly enough but could have been more helpful. It seemed a little sketchy that there would be 3 or 4 black cars parked there almost every evening. A few older men just hanging around for hours, it was a little strange. There was no bus services to the nearest city,Gallarate during the whole week we were there, so you have to travel to the airport on the free shuttle then get the train. There is no direct train to Gallarate so we went to Busto Arsizio which was lovely! Overall I would only recommend staying in this hotel for 1/2 nights although there is a holiday inn just opposite it and im sure there isn't much difference in prices.

We had booked Hotel Restorante Cervo next to Milan Malpensa Airport via Booking.com. After our arriving at 15:00 and registration we received a key from the room 215. Room was in the end of corridor few steps below floor level. The temperature in the room was extremely low. Not any type of heating was available. The bed was so cold that we could not use it to take a rest after long trip. It was full feeling like we went into the vault. When I came to the reception I was told that room heating will be started at 18:00 and work for 12 hours per day as this is the policy for hotels in Italy (???!!!). We have spent 10 days in different hotels and cities in Italy and never met such rules. I asked to give us some movable heater or to do something as it was absolutely impossible to stay there. For all our inquiry or proposal the answer was "No". Finally when I said that I will tell this story to the public via Trip Advisors and other media institutes the people in Reception told myself : " We do not care and we cancel your reservation" . Thanks we had rented car and were able to leave and find another hotel. We just imagine what would be happened to the people like us without any chance to move from there with their luggage. How Trivago and Booking.com could introduce such a hotel and service to the public??? Alex Shushkovsky Calgary, Canada

Stayed here after a late flight as a stop over on our way to Turin. Arrived at the airport and called for the shuttle bus to pick us up. The cost was €3 each and the lift came quickly (although only 4 people are able to travel at a time). Check in was easy and they agreed to keep the restaurant open for us to eat. The food was really nice and the staff in the restaurant were friendly and helpful. We then had a few drinks in the hotel bar before bed. The rooms were basic but clean. The only issue that I had was that the room we were in stunk of old cigarette smoke. This was the major reason why I cannot rate the hotel any higher than 3 stars and a real shame as the staff are lovely. My friends in other rooms did not have this problem however so maybe it is just the luck of the draw! The next morning we had delicious fresh pastries and coffees in the bar area of the hotel. This hotel suited our needs and has friendly staff and nice food. The only downside for me was the smell of cigarette smoke in my room but as I say others did not encounter this. Should still be considered as a budget option if staying close to the airport.
