Thea Luxury Resort

Owner charged us an extra €70 euros per night for our 2 small children to sleep despite booking for 4 of us via Agoda, claiming they only had the booking for 2 adults. I showed them my confirmation emails but they were having none of it. The room we were allocated was the same room we had booked, which was very basic and run down. Despite the fact that they charged us more the room was not set up for 4 with only 3 chairs, 3 sets of towels, 2 glasses….. Do not book this accommodation as it is likely you will be ripped off!!

Theo studio is well localized, 10minutes by walking from Fira, in a quiet place with an wonderful view on th sea. We have enjoyed our stay in Superior studio (our best holidays) : Jacuzzi in the room, furnished kitchen and confortable bed. The studio is very pleasant ; clean and well decorated. Access to 2 swimming pools with a large one enabling training!. All the hotel team members help you to experience unforgettable holidays. Our back plane was late, we were authorized to stay in the swimming pool and have shower before leaving the hotel. Perfect holidays !! We will go back in this hotel without any doubt.

The property is a 10 minute walk from the core of Fira, but it’s such a lovely place! Alex from reception was such an amazing person, he truly cares about what’s important to me and my wife and listed things we need to explore in the island. He also recommended places to dine, what to do and what to avoid. I’ll definitely stay here again next time I’m back in Santorini. Yes, it’s a 10 minute walk to the core but the short hike warmed me up for the adventures ahead!

Thea Studios are liars! I booked their apartments in 2020 But Covid has changed plans and Greece was closed. So I asked to return my money back. They gave me a voucher exp.date 30th November 2021. After that date they promised that money will return to my account. I sent Thea Studios my number accounts and another bank documents. They answered that OK, soon money will be But. No!!! They won't give me my money back and ignoring me. I don't know what to do. I will never recommend these scammers and deceivers to anyone!!!!! Thea Studios you are bad dishonest people. I'm sure that you will pay for your awful act. Мудачье. Принципиально доберусь до Санторини и лично в лицо плюну. Кидалы.

I researched this property and the location seemed amazing, it mentioned Main Street, Fira as the address but it was definitely not close to the centre! The apartments are lovely, clean and spacious but the location did not suit our needs! There is a very rough and rundown walk into Fira, which takes about 20 minutes but the scenery is awful! Make sure you wear trainers at all times! We ended up moving to different apartments half way through our holiday as we really disliked the location! we moved to Scirocco apartments with a Caldera & sea view and it has been absolutely fabulous, like a different holiday! When we left Thea Studios, the manager wasn’t very pleasant and he asked me for a €10 charge for air conditioning, Which we didn’t even use! Even though we left our apartment 5 days early and had paid in full for 9 nights. I thought this was very unfair! We stayed in early October and it was absolutely freezing at the apartments as it was extremely windy, but on the caldera side it is much more pleasant and warm.

We’ve just returned from a 10-night stay at Thea Studios in Fira and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice of hotel. We stayed in the split-level apartment, which was beautiful, so spacious, so clean, really nice place. Kitchen, hot tub, large bathroom and 2 sofas downstairs. Smaller bathroom, bedroom and sofa upstairs with a balcony that had the most amazing view. The staff were excellent, very friendly, not sure where the “rude staff” comments are coming from, they were all lovely to us, especially Alex, he could not have been more accommodating for us. He even allowed us a very late checkout for free which was lovely. He also helped us sort out a catamaran cruise, making things very easy for us. Great guy and great staff. Yes, it’s a little bit of a walk to main Fira but after all the delicious Greek food we ate, I was glad of the walk to burn some calories 🙂. I still really really liked the location of the hotel abs didn’t mind the walk at all, I never felt like it was unsafe. Our apartment was located in front of the bigger pool, which was lovely and having both a terrace and balcony, was really lovely. Apartment cleaned every day, clean towels everyday. They give you pots, pans, plates, bowls, mugs, glasses, cutlery, everything you need for your stay. Also the showers are awesome! Supermarket and bakery about 7 minute walk away, as is Fira. It’s not on the Caldera side but they don’t advertise that but what they do have is the most amazing sunrise across the Aegean Sea, well worth getting up early to see. Overall, fantastic place, I really recommend it. Don’t believe the negative reviews, it’s a fantastic place!

Cannot fault the property or facilities however certain frontline staff were hostile and threatening towards our party. Refused to engage with a request to speak to the manager stating he had no interest in speaking to ourselves. Refused to acknowledge Hotel.com membership criteria and honor benefits. It was not isolated, watched another party leave early rather than expose themselves to the staffs hostility.

We booked the 3 bed executive villa. Was spacious and clean but infested with flies! Electric kept going off so no air conditioning and the WiFi was very poor. The customer service was poor. Staff were rude! And not interested in helping. We charged twice for the Transferes even though clearly states one per room. Who paints the floors black around a pool in a hot country??? Feet burnt! It was in the middle of nowhere very inaccessible can’t walk can’t get taxis!

The hotel was amazing, staff were very helpful and friendly they will go the extra mile to help you specially Alexis he was amazing and make sure you are happy and comfortable in your accommodation, hotel very clean and it was more than we expected, will definitely come back to this lovely island with to the same hotel 😀

Beautiful place! Our apartment was amazing and had plenty of space. Access to two pools and the staff were friendly too. The only issue we had was that even though it was close to Fira (about 5-10 mins drive), it was a little bit isolated. Also, the breakfast, unfortunately, was fairly basic. Having said that, I would definitely come back!
