Very nice and welcoming staff.. dinner was excellent.. rooms were large with old world charm

They did well despite seeming possibly short staffed

Breakfast was nice but a full continental breakfast would have been nice as an alternative. Especially with a long stay. A bar/ light evening menu would have been helpful too.

The majority of staff were friendly. A few being a little less keen to interact though !

Setting, tranquility, loved the staircase and the stained glass windows. Liked them offering fruit. Very good service.

The room was nice and large with a very comfortable bed. The views to the garden were lovely and enjoyed sitting on the window seat reading my book. The shower was great. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Loved the restaurant and compliments should go to the chef - every meal was perfectly cooked. Loved the cosy bar area.

The Hall was probably very grand in its time but is now slightly faded. That being said, the new owners will be refurbishing the hall to a very luxurious standard and look forward to the upgrade. The bath's shower attachment didn't work but no doubt this will be rectified once refurbed.

Everything ! Location is perfect , so quiet and peaceful, beautiful grounds.

Cannot fault it in any way

Very nice stay, some parts of the hotel are a little dated but it was a comfortable stay. Lovely garden which is very well kept too.
