I have stayed at this hotel 5 times already and would not change it. The staff greeted us warmly, was assisted very quickly, and our baggage delivered to our rooms. We stayed in Room D14 and B14. These rooms are very close to the restaurant, the Monkey Pool Swim Up Bar (the have a drinks special in the afternoon and the lovely barman gives you peanuts to snack on) and the pool near to the beach. So, very conveniently situated. The bedrooms were spacious, 2 bottles of water a day was supplied - free of charge, an umbrella, hairdryer and a few refreshments which was in the fridge in case you needed it but that is chargeable. Shampoo, conditioner and soap was provided in the shower. The rooms were always clean. Swimming towels are provided at the pool when needed. Breakfast was plentiful with something for everyones needs. Coffee, tea, juices, Thai selection of food, bacon, eggs, cereal, breads, yogurt, fruit, pancakes, and a lot more. The hotel is situated next door to the Arc Bar. At no time did any noise from there disturb us. As you walk out of the hotel, on the right hand side is a basic cafe that you can get beers, cold drinks, ice cream etc. - very convenient. There is a restaurant called Galanga on the opposite side of the road which I recommend highly. We found a lovely taxi driver which we would hire her either for the day or a few hrs. Everything is within reach, whether it be the Central Festival Shop - you can get everything there that you need or the local bars and places to buy clothes. The staff at the hotel was always helpful - you could ask them to phone for a taxi or a hotel- and at no trouble they would assist you. I cannot find a fault. Even Sue the elderly lady that owns the hotel would take her walk everyday and greet everyone to say how she appreciated us staying there. Do not hesitate to stay at this stunning hotel. Thank you to all the staff that made us feel special. We werent just a number. Rooms We stayed in D14 and B14 - very near the restaurant, the pool near the beach and the Monkey Upswim bar. Very convenient. Nearby activities: Massages offered at the pool near the beach. Jet ski which we also used with no problem just a short walk from the beach. Safety Felt: extremely safe at the hotel. Walkability: We within walking distance to shops, The Central Festival, taxis right outside the hotel, bars. I would say we were in the centre of everything. Food and drinks: The hotel provided a variety of food at breakfast. There was always something for everyone. You can have lunch and dinner there too. Dinner is set out on the beach which was amazing. A restaurant which I can recommend is directly across the road as you walk out of the hotel on the left hand side called Galanga. Noteworthy details" We also made use of the massage place across the road on the left hand side - did not do massages but had our hair washed and blow dryed which they did an amazing job. We really enjoyed our stay here. It was within walking distance to pretty much anything we needed. It was surrounded by the loud and busy nightlife but once you were back on the resort property the noise quickly faded away which was so nice. The beach was great, we found the snorkeling to be really good with plenty of fish to see. We were a family of 6 and everyone liked the breakfast. I felt like there were plenty of options and it was nice not to have to walk around and find somewhere to eat every morning. The rooms were modern and clean. The only downside was they occasionally smelled like rotten eggs or some type of sewer smell. Difficult to describe and we weren’t sure what was causing it but it was outside around the area as well. It didn’t bother us enough to do anything about it. Overall the resort was clean, staff was friendly and location was great. I would highly recommend.

It was our first stay at Chaweng garden. The manager was fantastic . We requested 2 rooms side by side at time of booking and received two great modern, clean pool view rooms next to each other. The pool was one of the cleanest and well maintained I’ve seen in Thailand. The staff are amazing and there’s heaps of them. Great resort and we will definitely be coming back.

We were able to check in early, which was very kind of the staff. Our room was spacious, clean and cool due to the excellent air con. All staff encountered were very good and hospitable. The location is brilliant right in the middle of everything but quiet enough to relax. The grounds were lovely and well kept. The beach was also very nice with soft sand and a warm sea. There were plenty of sun beds available. The planes which come over you soon get used to and don’t hear after a while. We never heard them while trying to sleep.

Comfortable space, nice pool

Very tropical resort. We stayed at the superior 4 people room. Literally 100 meters to the beach. Room is clean , strong air con and wifi is spot on including the beach. So many beautiful trees in the resort. Breakfast just plain nothing fancy. Beach is beautiful and water is warm. Free airport pick up from the airport. Transport on the island is not cheap. 400 baht to start off. No matter you Thais or tourists. Overall we had a great stay.
