Chaweng Garden Beach Resort

We spent 7 nights here. The staff were excellent and location very central.We requested assorted bed and they were happy to accommodate our request with a mattress topper.breakfasts were good about normal for a resort. Nice out look over the beach with some very friendly Squirrels

First impressions are so important. The receptionist on check-in was very cold and unfriendly towards us.

Check in was a nightmare. I had no baht because international flight and transfer and late. Front desk treated me like a criminal despite paying up front and having over 800 credit score. Demanded 1000 baht and refused to let me check in or take my cresit card. Refused to hold my luggage so i could run and get baht. Finally mgr came and agrred to hold my luggage for a little while. TERRIBLE INITIAL CUSTOMER SERVICE WHEN MOST IMPORTANT!

Two pools were great offering different settings. Right on the beach, easy walk to restaurants and 10 min from airport. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Breakfast offering healthy choices with a 4 hour window to suit everyone.

Fantastic resort in a prime location . Staff are friendly , hotel grounds are so lush and make you feel like you’re on a tropical island with the sand pathways . Rooms are clean with older decor . Towels could do with replacing being that they are more grey than white with no fluff left . Good priced food , drinks & massages . Breakfast is lovely with adequate selection . Beds are on the hard side , pillows lovely . Only improvements could be the curtains as they are not block out and light shines through , walls between rooms are thin and you can hear your neighbors, other then that I would highly recommend this hotel and definitely stay again . Oh and yes the planes are really noisy but we were aware of that prior to booking and they stop at night .

We loved our stay so much that we ended up extending our stay. The rooms are surrounded by lush greenery on a beautiful beach. The restaurant is excellent and very well priced, not sure if I can eat a Thai green curry back in London after I had it here. The location is very convenient for shopping, night market, clubs for the younger crowd. There is an excellent gym walking distance. I had the best massages here, I called her my body doctor for my ruined back from computers. The one thing I would have liked was if there was some yoga or fitness class onsite maybe once a day but as I mentioned there is a good gym nearby. If I come back to samui I will definitely stay here. Great resort at a good price point.

The property is set right on Chaweng Beach, making it very convenient to enjoy the ocean and the swimming pool. Breakfast has a good variety of options.

Love the garden setting and the beach. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Didn't like the hard mattress on our bed.

Staff were super friendly (especially round the pool) , amazing location - close to the strip but still private. The rooms were great, authentic beach hut feeling. Perfect for a couple wanting a few nights at a reasonable price in the centre of everything!
