This htel is at the city center close to shopping. The hotel is clean Breakfast was good. They arrange a tour for us at reasonable price. It is a very good hotel and prompt service. It is a bit pricy compared to similar hortels.

"Great location"

8.0

The Byeyer Hotel is very convenient for shopping and dining in Hualien. The small boutique hotel has nice rooms and the outside looks very cool. Really stands out in the street of older buildings.

"A decent hotel, well priced and in a good location"

8.0

This hotel was very cheap, provided a reasonable level of comfort with the main plus being its proximity to the downtown area with its food and entertainment options. The distance from the train station (about 10 mins in a taxi) was not a big problem, as there is no sightseeing to be done there, except for tour buses to Taroko Gorge. Staff do have problems with English, but we got there in the end.

"Wonderful customer service and well kept rooms"

10.0

My partner and I arrived at Byeyer Hotel a day earlier than the reservation because of a mistake on our end. The front desk staff was very friendly and told us everything would be ok. We paid for a room that night (at the same rate which we reserved the standard room) and then kindly told us we would be upgraded to the suite room for all 4 nights of our stay, complementary of the management. How wonderful! The rooms are clean and well kept, though not much of a view given the location of the hotel. The location was perfect for strolling around the downtown. There are many eateries, bakeries, and shops within just one or two blocks and is about 25 minutes walking from train station. The complementary breakfast is meh but the service was outstanding. Front desk spoke fluent English and we understood each other very well. Rooms do not have wifi, and only a standard ethernet cable. There is wifi in the lobby. There are also bikes in front of the hotel, that I assume are for rent. When it came time to checkout and head back on the train, the hotel kindly offered us a shuttle there. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would love to stay there again a second time.

"Fantastic Hotel!"

10.0

We were really delighted that we stumbled upon this hotel during our trip to Hualien and our self-guided hike of the Taroko Gorge. Usually whenever I stay at a hotel, I can always identify at least one or two things that I didn't like... Not at this place. I really can't think of a single thing that I didn't like. The entire hotel must be either brand new, or (very) recently renovated. Everything from the room's interior design to the bathroom is as modern as you can get. The staff was extremely helpful and spoke good English. In terms of their friendliness, I'd have to rank the staff in the top 1% of all the hotels I've stayed at. The breakfast downstairs was pretty extensive and offered a good mix of Taiwanese and other international food. The location was also quite good -- not too far from the Hualien train station. On top of all of this, the hotel was also a really good value. I would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat.

"Byeyer Hotel Hualien"

8.0

A surprisingly nice hotel on one of the main streets in town. Comfortable accomodations and very friendly staff. Front desk helped book tour of Taroko Gorge and each morning at breakfast, the servers automatically fried eggs for us. Next door to Dominos Pizza and three blocks from some really good seafood places.
