Byeyer Hotel Hualien

The hotel is 5 min by taxi from the train station. Located in a central area so it is convenient to go for supper and shopping at night. There's free bicycle rental (capped at 2 hours) so can easily cycle to the coast. Room is clean and spacious enough. Overall, it is a pleasant stay.

The room was smelly and it was hare to sleep. They are too small for the price as well.

This hotel is good, the room is clean and no problem with the service. Just the room is quite small for sharing.

Reasonable price, located close to downtown and many shops in walking distance. Hotel offers free bike rental and you may cycle around the town or along the beach. A good local restaurant serving good Wonton meals is just next door. Thirty minutes walk from train station. Hotel offers nice complimentary breakfast buffet with many choices in both Chinese and western styles.

Staff very accomodating and friendly. Changed our bed configuration immediately upon request and helped book flight tickets. Rooms were japanese style, very comfortable, clean and new. Located on a busy road, right opposite a great taiwanese bento box place, highly recommend. 5minute drive to local night market.

We loved the setting of the hotel whereby the soft mattress is on a lower bed frame, facing the television which gives us a very cosy feeling. The lighting of our room provides a sense of warmth, hence a nice resting nest after a long day of travel and shopping!

Clean room, fairly convenient location.

Friend's recommended the Byeyer Hotel, noting the convenience of its location and price. Both were spot on. It is a nice, clean hotel, located downtown near the shopping area and convenient to the beach and greater Hualien community. The hotel staff was super nice and helpful. Though there were some language barriers (my Chinese is just at the beginner level), we were able to work through all issues and the staff went out of its way for us (They even picked us up, when we simply asked them to order a taxi). The hotel is clean, and contrary to other reports, the provided breakfast was more than sufficient. We would absolutely stay here again.

Staff is friendly and location is good with many foods and shopping places around.

Room was too small. Not suitable for older guests as there are no chairs and table , expected to sit on floor.. The staff were very helpful indeed,.
