Bluewater Panglao Beach Resort

beautiful boutique resort.rooms are fantastic , everything works,lots of plug sockets for charging.pool never gets busy could always get a chair.pool towels provided and lifgurd on duty.amazing friendly staff , good security.totally relaxed stay.breakfast was good but had to order if you wanted eggs hot

lovely quiet resort 2 minutes from the main town Lovely staff Rooms have two twin beds which i dont understand why lovely spacious bathroom with walkin shower Breakfast has a decnt choice of food with a lovely outlook to the sea Not anything you could call a beach …could be a good project. but 2 nice swimming pools one down side is the sun loungers are not the most comfortable could do with investing in some matress’s and umbrellas lots of moped/bike hire nearby we stayed for 6 night and then moved to their sister hotel Bluewater Maribago which isnt as nice the room is overlooked (216)are dated and its busy/noisy and lots of building work going on

We stayed 8 nights at Bluewater Panglao - there are a couple of things to be aware of, but the review is almost entirely positive. The staff throughout are friendly, welcoming and diligent from the reception staff through lifeguards through housekeeping …… everyone!! It is kept incredibly clean, the room and bathroom were beautiful, the breakfast is excellent (and starts early if you have a tour). You are a little out of the town compared to some hotels, but it’s not prohibitive. It’s about a 15min walk, or a tuk-tuk costs 100pesos each way, and can be summoned by reception with just a few minutes notice. The town is busy, but has many many shops, bars, restaurants etc …… with a a few hidden gems! (Napoleats in particular is amazing!) The main thing that the resort perhaps needs to revisit is its billing as a ‘beach’ resort ……. it isn’t!! Yes, you can access the sea but any true sand is minimal and the resort photo shows an area of man made concrete with some sun loungers on. Don’t worry though, the pool area is lovely and quiet and a true white sandy beach is a short tuk tuk ride away (Dumaluan beach). The only other thing is the evening restaurant - quite soulless as most people go in to town for dinner, and the quality of the food and service wasn’t up to that of breakfast. Please don’t let the negatives put you off - the hotel and its staff are lovely and we had a great week here. TIP: If going for a Premier Deluxe room (which I can recommend), ask for one on the top level, as the layout means you have less people walking past your patio and main door.

We had a very pleasant stay for 3 nights. We booked two rooms which were massive, lovely balcony area with effective mosquito screen, staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Big rainforest shower and bathroom. Also smart TVs so you can log into streaming services. Kettle, tea, coffee, fridge etc. Plenty of storage. The swimming pools and beach area are lovely, gardens immaculate. Definitely the best place we stayed during our 3 week trip to the Philippines. Two small things: the beds are nice but too hard to be comfortable. The food was also not great. 800 php for breakfast per person per night but the eggs were undercooked and pastries had an odd taste. We ordered a fish sandwich and wedges, they were quite greasy but the fish was raw in the middle so we sent it back. The pizzas were decent. It's a lovely hotel and I would definitely stay here again but more attention needs to be paid to the food quality.

The overall experience is superb! The room is clean and with complete amenities. The food also is good for its price. I could really recommend the resort to my friends and relatives. It is best for people who would like to be in a peaceful place to unwind. Would really like to try the stand-up paddle board but it wasn't available during the time.

Really good stay here for 3 nights! Firstly the room was really clean and the bathroom was amazing, wanted to take it home! The staff were really helpful so no faults there. Food could be improved, it was okay but I think it could be improved. The location is also good, near bars and only costs around 100paso to get too. A lot of greenery around hotel so little insects are quite common around room and sometimes in room. Mosquitos are very bad here so definitely remember spray or stuff for around the room!!! Seems to be a lot staff so there is always someone to help if needed. Overall, really good stay! Would definitely return!

We absolutely loved our stay at Bluewater in Bohol. The rooms were extremely clean, modern, and comfortable — exactly what you want when you’re on vacation. But the real highlight was the breakfast. Honestly, it was the best breakfast I’ve had at any hotel in the Philippines. The spread was incredible, with a perfect mix of Filipino and Western options, all fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every morning felt like a treat. What made the experience even better was the staff, especially the breakfast team. They consistently went above and beyond, always warm, attentive, and ready to help with anything. Their hospitality truly made our stay special. Highly recommend staying here — we’ll definitely be back!

WE stayed here on October 12 -15, 2025. The place is very nice, staff are very courteous,,,the food is delicious especially the buffer breakfast. Hoping to come back to the resort soon,,,,

Our sink tap not working well. Hot water in sink and shower takes at least 5 minutes to work. Breakfast too far away and not enough fans. No hotplate for beans, sausage and bacon. On checkout they tried to charge 335 pesos for 2 beers but i dont drink. There is no entertainment at all

The hotel service and environment are excellent. The only minor inconvenience is that the staff were doing maintenance work in the morning, which created some noise and forced me to wake up.
