Auberge de la Commanderie

This hotel was simple but had a great location, clean room and modern amenities. We stayed in a room in the maison building and it was decorated well and very comfortable. It exceeded my expectations.

This is a great, clean basic hotel in a great location right in the village of Saint Emilion, on a quiet street.

Beautiful hotel, perfect location it was great to have a separate building for us.. on room for the kids downstairs and our room in the upper level in a very beautiful and old building, but everything renovated inside.

We were in the annex part of the hotel. Room comfortable and clean, only thing I've rated down on was that the bathroom had a bath with shower over, but no shower curtain so difficult to have a stand up shower without soaking the bathroom. Staff friendly. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment on it, but we had coffee and croissant at a cafe virtually next door which was pleasant and much cheaper than the hotel breakfast and plenty for us. Hotel is in an excellent location right in the heart of St Emilion, everything in easy walking distance.

Right In this medieval city, we had the convenience of modern life. Comfortable room, great breakfast, not American style, but plenty! Great location and friendly staff!

Excellent, friendly, and accommodating staff. Although they had not switched over from heat to air conditioning, they were able to do this for our room the next morning; so, only had to sleep with windows open for the first night which made the room comfortable but extremely noisy due to the cobblestone streets. Choice of a top sheet instead of the combo sheet-duvet would have helped. Great view of the monolithic church from our room. No toiletries (had to buy shampoo and conditioner from the pharmacy). Was nice to have WiFi but it wasn't very stable (which meant we had to continuously log in). Overall, a great stay in our favorite city of Saint-Emilion.

Great base for touring the Right bank chateaux. Updated rooms in stone building in a great location in St. Emilion. Not the Four Seasons, but you weren't looking for that, were you?
