Casa do Bairro by Shiadu

Room was beautiful, ataff was super friendly, breakfast was outstanding. Only conplaint was that the room was a bit noisy as it faced a main road

Excellent location, very good customer service, there are only a few rooms, so it is very intimate.

Just stayed 5 days at Casa do Bairro and had the most wonderful time there. The guesthouse and the room are perfectly clean and well decorated. It's so cosy you could almost feel at home. The bed is impeccable, slept like a baby. The service is of the same standard, excellent, the personnel is friendly, always there to help you and will provide all the info you need. A delicious homemade cake is even brought every morning. And the breakfast is just to die for : eggs, all sort of fresh breads, homemade jams, pancakes, pains perdus, cake (again!), fruits, yoghurts...The guesthouse is located in a quiet street, near the centre, main attractions and not too far from metro Cais do Sodre and Baixa Chiadu. Big thumbs up for Sofia, Lily, Diogo, Rui and their colleagues! Can't recommend enough Casa do Bairro.

Nice place with excellent location

We stayed in a lot of lovely hotels during our two-week stay in Europe, and this one was one of the nicest-looking! The location was near all of the liveliest bars for nightlife but in more of a quiet residential area, which was the perfect combination. We only stayed for a couple of nights and either I couldn't figure out how to get hot water or the hot water in the shower was broken.

We were very happy with our stay. Great location right in the centre, but it was at the top of a hill (which is typical for Lisbon). Yummy breakfast with a great view and helpful, English speaking staff. The only complaint is that the reception was often closed.

Amazing

We were scheduled to stay at Casa do Bairro this week. Due to the recently enacted travel restrictions from The USA we had to cancel. The hotel showed us NO compassion whatsoever. We were charged the full amount of our stay. We will stay elsewhere on our next trip to Lisbon.

The hotel has a bakery attached!!! Breakfast is amazing. The bed is nice. The location can’t be beat. Amazing front desk. Nothing but great things here!

The room was fantastic: big, tidy, clean, with high ceilings and big windows (with a nice view of the street). The workers were very polite, always willing to help and make the stay as pleasant as possible. Great breakfast, too.
