Casa do Bairro by Shiadu

Our stay was excellent! Staff was exceptional and accommodated our last minute request for a rollaway bed. Lisbon was beautiful but get in shape for the hills! Daily breakfast and unlimited coffee was superb. Absolutely charming.

Casa do Bairro is a wonderful, welcoming and lovely place to stay. It is well-located, the breakfast is very good and the staff amazingly helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Love this place! The staff are amazing and give you so much knowledge and info on Lisbon. There is an amazing breakfast included in your stay! The rooms are beautiful and unique with very comfortable beds and pillows. The whole place is adorable! Great location. You get a voucher for a free drink at there restaurant down the Rd. The food and view there was amazing. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

We loved it there! It was a very adorable, quaint place. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was lovely. The rooms were perfect for our needs. The only thing we didn’t love was the location was located in the middle of the hilliest part of Bairro alto so either direction you walk out the door you are either going down a steep hill or up a steep hill and cars cannot go down the street it is located on. Although the area is very nice and we felt very safe. Also, the place is a bit old and you hear a creaking sound when any one moves or takes a step. But despite those things, we absolutely loved it and would stay there again!

The staff were friendly, helpful, and the rooms were pleasant. The description did say it was in a pedestrian part of the city, and that the taxi could not come down the street, and therefore we had to walk a short ways to the hotel. However, it neglected to mention that the street is quite steep and cobblestone, and lugging suitcases up the street was difficult. Plus the hotel has stairs that you had to lug suitcases up and down. We found later that the taxis could come down the street ( I think if the hotel ordered the taxi for you ), and so the pick up from the hotel was easier. Nice rooms, good air conditioning (especially wonderful in the heat wave going on this July).

Fantastic little hotel. Extremely clean, very helpful and nice staff. Breakfast is great. Should try their sister restaurant too, tapas there is fantastic! Couldn't recommend it more highly!

In general, the room was nice. During my stay, staffs helped me a lot. They are so friendly. The breakfast is perfect! There is nothing I can talk about it. It is exceptional. Toiletries are so limited, so I recommend you to bring your own stuff. Roads are so steep, so please ready to walk.
