The breakfast was perfect as was the food in the restaurant. This is a 600 hundred year old property so some things are wonky but this adds to the charm we would stay again all staff were very friendly and helpful

If I had to fault one thing it would be that the bed was a bit to hard for me

open fire. room nice and warm all night. good breakfast. dinner menu rather limited. Parking very convenient for me (blue badge user) friendly people in bar.

The room was well equipped, clean and warm with a comfortable bed and useful desk. The evening was plentiful and well cooked, the restaurant was freindly and well laid out. The cooked breakfast was excellent.

The car park was small with a narrow entrance, though this wasn't a major problem to me. There is ample parking close by in the town.

Fantastic meal and family gathering for myself and my cousins 60th. The function room was great that we had and the roast dinners were amazing. The service was quick, the food hot and very generous portions. The vegetable wellington was really tasty. The staff were lovely and came in with extra gravy and sauces keeping us topped up. Definitely will visit again when in Castle Cary. Thank you for making our birthdays so special.
