Song Thu hotel

・エクスペディアにはレイトチェックインOK（12時まで）となっていましたが、実際に23時半頃にホテルに到着すると、ロビーの照明は消えていて、スタッフがロビーで寝ていました。すぐに対応してくれましたが、すごく眠そうでとても申し訳ない感情になりました。 ・部屋に入ると、まず全体的にどぶ？かび？みたいな匂いに包まれていて、非常に不快でした。トイレに行こうと洗面室に言ったら、大きなゴキブリがいてその退治でてんやわんやしました。 ・また、トイレの便器の目の前にシャワーが設置してあり、何の壁も無いのでシャワーの水は全てトイレにかかる仕組みでした（エクスペディアの写真に掲載されているようにガラス等で仕切られていません。） ・部屋の掃除も行き届いておらず、至るところに汚れやゴミが落ちていました。 ・ベッドは古い？のかギシギシと音がして、布団も清潔ではなく、寝るのも嫌になる気持ちでした。 ・wifi パスワードも聞けませんでした。 上記の理由から、本当は2泊の予定でしたが、不衛生、不快過ぎて1泊のみでチェックアウトし、別のホテルに宿泊しました。 余計にお金がかかって本当に嫌な気分になりました。

마지막 출국전 잠시머물기위해 방을예약했지만 우선 곰팡이냄새가 나더군요;; 시설은 정말오래되었구요 하필 제가이용한방은 냄새최악에다가 창문은 혼자선 못여는구조에 에어콘도 고장이라 송풍 ㅡ ㅡ;;; 최악중에 최악이였습니다

Good hotel for the money. Staff was friendly and very helpful.

Chambre très spacieuse mais de propreté moyenne. Bien situé dans le centre ville. Déjeuner inclus plus qu'ordinaire.

좋은 점 : 직원들은 엄청 친절합니다. : 다낭 시내 한강 근처라서 새벽비행기를 탈 경우 짐을 넣어두고 돌아다니다가 잠깐 쉬고 하기 좋습니다 ! 나쁜 점 단.. 시설이 아주 오래된 느낌이라는 것은 지울 수가 없네요 .

Because of reviews, only booked 4 nights in the cheapest room for me and my 43 year old mentally challenged daughter. At check in I mentioned that I was an enlisted navy veteran who lived 2 blocks away from 67-69 and this was my first trip back. Without saying anything and at no extra charge we were up graded to the nicest available room. Our room was recently remodeled. This hotel caters mostly to Vietnamese tourists. Other than us, a retired Viet-American inventor is currently the only other US citizen. When full, the breakfast buffet is not to be missed. You may not like everything, but one should at least taste. The breakfast menu is used when tour groups aren't here. My daughter and I are working our way through the menu. Some things I like better than others. At breakfast someone always wants to try English. We have received invitations to be house guests in Hanoi and Saigon. Staff's English is better than my Vietnamese. I use mix ups as an opportunity to teach. Examples: I asked receptionist for an extension cord to plug my computer into. She said man would be up in "one hour" he was at the door in a minute. Was told $5 when she meant $ .50. Daughter wanted a fork, waiter wasn't familiar with word "fork", so we had a 2 minute English lesson. The hotel owner and the Viet-American have built a waste management plant that I toured. If it proves successful, it will change waste management world wide. We are extending our stay by 2 weeks at Song Thu Hotel.

Location was good, room spacious and clean. One of the few hotels that has a properly working air conditioner. The downside to that is its drainage pipe emptied onto the bathroom floor, useless. We used multiple towels to soak up the water as it was too dangerous to walk in the bathroom otherwise. Breakfast was below par, a shortlist of 5 items eaten in a room which looks like it was decorated in 1988, furniture included.

Arrived at mid afternoon checked into a great room but the stench in the drains in the bathroom were so bad we had to change rooms. The move was to a lesser room which had no closers on the windows leaving you exposed to the traffic noise outside and a bathroom with a towel rail ready to knock your head off as you entered. Move number 3 was quick as we entered our room there were dead cochroaches on the floor. Move number 4 was to a room with no window and a bed that made a horrid noise if you even sat on it. This took over 3 hours to fix. There are better options around don't stay here very disappointing

The Song Thu hotel is very well located in DaNang and the rooms are big and comfortable. Staff is friendly and helpful and speaks good English. Breakfast is a Asian buffet but the staff offer at least eggs in various forms as a complement. The doors are thin like in most VN hotels and the floors might need a wet-wipe but I will definitely stay here again.

Think hard about what kind of traveler you are and your NEEDS vs. WANTS in a property before deciding whether or not to book here. (Warning: Google Maps will tell you it is permanently closed.) This is a hotel I would love to hate . . . Off the beaten track, unprepossesing in appearance, no safe in room (a big daeal to me), definitely has a one-star look. BUT, if you can get past this, it has a lot going for it. Great location, a short walk to Han River Bridge, the Hoi An municipal bus (#01, second bus shelter, VND18,000, 45 minute ride), night life along the river, many restaurants and street food, decent a/c and hot water, clean, comfortable bed, very sweet and caring staff. However, staff English is very limited, breakfast is limited in selection and Asian (don't look for an omelet station, but if you like bun bo Huê, summer rolls, steamed dumplings, your cà phê sua, and congee) you will be just fine. Be aware that many dishes are eaten at room temperature, not piping hot. The real concern is the scary bathroom we had. Although there is a great rainforest shower head along with the European hand-held, the smooth tile floor became EXTREMELY slippery when wet, and there is no shower stall or enclosure, so there is a real danger of a serious fall if you are not attentive/careful. The drain was very slow, and up to a half cm of water accumulated even when limiting shower flow and time running. Compounding this was the double step down from the bathroom to the sleeping area on smooth tile with wet feet. Hint: put the bath mat on the top step. So, if you are not a demanding traveler, and looking for comfortable accomodations at a bargain price, I recommend this property highly. If you are a picky tourist who needs Western amenities, I would look elsewhere.
