Song Thu hotel

*Location: The hotel is in the centre of the city, close to the famous and beautiful Han river (4-5 minute walk), near a lot of restaurants and cafés and the airport also, a bit far from the beach though (5-7 minute drive). *Room: My room was not very big but it was enough for our family of 3. The room is nice, neat, very clean and comfortable. It could be quite noisy when you open the room windows, but we were out most of the time so it was not a problem. *Staff: The staff are very helpful. They met whatever we asked for with affable attitude. *Hotel restaurant: hotel restaurant is on the top floor of the hotel. They provide so-called buffet breakfast (mostly Vietnamese food) here: though there isn't much to choose from, some is very good, and generally the food is acceptable to us. We are satisfied with our stay there and will come back a second time if we get here.

We stayed at the Song Thu Hotel after asking for vacancies at Da Nang Airport. It was excellent value for money; our room was huge and the bathroom absolutely massive with a great rainforest shower head thingy! The bed was comfortable and everything was clean. Walking along the river which is close by was lovely at night with all the bridges lit up. The hotel met all our requirements.

Hi, Stayed one night,the hotel is average,but good value for money,located a bit away from shops or eating places.Rooms are big but can be noisy if facing the road. Nice river walk and dragon bridge walk,Away from the river is nice restaurant. Free wifi.Close to the Da Nang airport.

Not really a tourist hotel very little english spoken and communication can be trying our rooms on 4 floor were quite large and comfy bit loud at night with music coming from roof bar but good aspect with views down the street to the mountain. barthroom seemed to leak leaving floor always wet can be annoying breakfast was very Asian no bacon or eggs but good noodles. Enjoyed our stay overall but should in retrospect have stayed in one of the new beach resort but if you do stay in Danang good value local hotel

Total lacking of service and English speaking staff. We had booked a Superior room for a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids). We requested for a quiet room and according to the hotel we got their most quiet room. Only thing to say is, that if this wad supposed to be quiet, we do not want to know who the other rooms were. We were located on 3 rd floor towards the 2 roads and had a sleepless night due to all the traffic noise. Only good thing about the room wad, that it was big. Bathroom was worn out and the toilet was leaking, so the floor was constantly wet. Not hot water! The room was dirty - had not been properly cleaned for days! And when we checked out they wanted us to pay an additional fee for the kids even though we had already paid via Expedia for the 4 of us. So be careful as the staff are trying to chrat on you and since they don't speak much English, it becomes very difficult.

Despite requiring a bit of a walk to the city centre, the hotel is in a pretty good location. It's sky bar (a bit gloomy) also turns out to be THE place to be to watch the New Year fireworks. We were glad to be spending our last night in the hotel. Apart from that, our receptionist (pronounced 'Nya', apologies if we're wrong) was the sweetest girl. She made sure our stay was comfortable. And oh, please do go for the family suite. It's lovely.
