The Lamb Inn

Character. Garden. Food. Friendliness of staff. Location

Steep stairs. Tiny bar area. Staff were quite ‘rushed’.

Dishes at dinner were average. Breakfast was very good

Parking is hard to find a place to unload.

The location was perfect, just a 3 min walk to Burfords main Street. The staff were very friendly and the hotel room was nice and clean apart from the headboard.The restaurant was very nicely set up. The Inn has a lot of character/history. Had no issues parking!

Unfortunately the headboard in our room was stained due to others leaning against it which was a bit off putting when your spending £310 a night but the bedding itself was clean and inviting. I'm sure it wouldn't take long to sort. If the bar itself was more inviting we would have stopped in there more when we came back from a meal out.. The Inn is lovely it just needs a bit of love being put into it..

Location in Burford is great. Restaurant did decent food. Thought the service was polite and efficient. Slightly off the main road so wasn't too noisy at night. Can't really add anything people haven't already said in previous reviews.

The hotel is full of character. The building is an original old building with many different levels. It is oozing charm and tastefully decorated.

The visual charms with many different levels and sloping floors made it a bit hazardous for those of us in our late 70s
