Lovely building , grounds and location

Room was a little small, the bathroom was tiny and the shower was very small!

Location was very good

Most rooms are very small, except for one. Our first room had an unpleasant smell, but the staff were helpful and moved us to a much better room—unfortunately, it was only available for one night. The next room we were given had ladybugs throughout and a broken window. Thankfully, the staff eventually relocated us to a nearby hotel, which was very nice.

Old world charm and quite

Reception desk was erratically supported and slow also, the allocation of my room did NOT reflect the selection description on booking.com for looking over the garden - which would have place my room near to my travelling companions suite. The suite we choose was perfect however

Old inn stayed many years ago and wanted to revisit Had the suite v nice, spacious comfy bed and linens

Boiler probs second night so quite chilly!

all very nice , the sunday roast beef was a bit tough , but everything else FAB!
