The hotel is situated very near the train and bus station and those who are driving will appreciate the ease of parking here, compared with the historic centre. There is a park and a pleasant pedestrian mall lined with restaurants, cafes, and shops close to the hotel. There is 24-hour reception and the staff were helpful in booking tours. The rooms have air conditioning and blackout curtains to ensure comfortable sleep. The rooms are decorated with dark wooden furniture in a classic Andalusian style. The showers have plenty of hot water. There are in-room refrigerators. There is a local television station which broadcast performances from the Flamenco Museum, which was a treat. Wifi was inconsistent in my room; I had best access in the lobby. This is a good choice for those who wish to be in a quieter part of the city yet with easy access to the world-famous monuments and tourist information office.

well-located hotel, however it's a bit dark and the smell of cigarettes is in many places, indeed it enters the room. I asked for another room with an external window and the situation improved however the smoke is impregnated in the curtains which still cue some difficult time.

I was under the impression that this property was in centro Madrid but found it to be a €30 cab ride and 11 miles from downtown. Fortunately, Expedia staff worked with me to refund the balance of my stay and we were able to move closer to centro Madrid. The hotel also provided us with a driver to the metro station.

Convenient to all the sites. We could walk everywhere and it was only a few blocks from the train station.

No aircon and WiFi as other feedback days - the hotel should remove these from the website list of services. Or state the truth: foyer only.

The hotel was a little dated, however the staff and services were good. The location is ideal as it's only a 15 mins walk from the Mezquite and there are a variety of eateries within a 500 meter radius.

Clean room. Ok breakfast. No Wi-Fi service, not even at the lobby.

Hotel is fine, staff is friendly, hotel is a little removed from the center but not far. Still don't understand why this and all the other hotels in the city are so expensive though - compared to the other cities in Southern Spain - doesn't make any sense.
