Likes the lovely views and great location, but the property was dark with a lack of natural light and a bit dated

Stunningly beautiful. Mijas is one of our favourite places.

Stayed at The La Ermita for the first time after many years visiting Mijas and my experience was very pleasant. The location is fantastic and the rooms are very spacious and come with everything you need for a self contained break. Kitchen with full facilities and air-conditioning that actually works well are a big plus on hot days. The only negatives are 1) The 2 x Outdoor pools and area are a little tired and in need of refurbishment. 2) Check in is late at 4.00 pm 3) The rooms are not changed/cleaned daily unless you pay 30 Euro's per clean. 4) Daily charge of 5 Euro's per day for utilities? So in all, it works out a little more expensive than first appears ! But the positives out-way the negatives and I will return to La Ermita one day in the near future.

I stayed in this hotel last week with a friend and we both loved it I could not fault this hotel apart from we had noisy neighbours above us which disturbed my sleep they did let us move rooms but we could still hear the disturbance from our new room but apart from that everything else was great the staff, the Location was great, and you won’t be disappointed with this property and the views are amazing

A place my wife and I have been a couple of times now, and it just seems to get better each time! And the location is superb!

The location was great. Beautiful view from the our room. Pools were a bit cold outside, but did warm up.

The apartments are set in a perfect location with stunning views over the coast. The indoor and outdoor pools are beautiful and well looked after and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. There is a short walk into Mijas Pueblo (a steep incline but not very far and the lifts mentioned previously were out of order but I found the walk fine and I'm 60 years old). The only reason I didn't score this perfect was that every time someone flushed a toilet or had a shower the plumbing was very noisy. A small issue and on the whole I loved my stay.

La Ermita is in the perfect location within Mijas Pueblo. The 2 bed apt. we stayed in had everything we needed, with both an en suite bathroom and separate bathroom, both with showers, en suite with bath and shower which was all presented immaculately. The kitchen included both dishwasher and washing machine and all linen, cleaning products provided. The aparthotel was peaceful at all times and has beautiful, far reaching views across the surrounding coastal towns and the sea beyond from all balconies. With a small supermarket close by we were able to buy all the supplies we needed for our long weekend stay. While Mijas is a busy, lively village during the day time when many tourists visit , once the visiting tourists leave it is both tranquil and serene for evening walks, with plenty of bars and restaurants to stop off at along the way. The village itself is kept immaculately, I think just about the cleanest place I have ever stayed. It is obvious that this village which is steeped in history, with buildings and monuments to reflect this is well cared for by all who live here. One of my favourite places to visit, and never tire of, especially now I have found La Ermita.

We will definitely come back. There were beautiful views from the terrace, a peaceful pool and spa and a really spacious apartment. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. You couldn’t fault it.

When we arrived it was closed up for repairs. We were not informed about this and it was not a very nice experience at all to stranded! So cannot give any rating other than 😡
