Belmar Spa & Beach Resort

Everything was great beyond expectations!

We traveled to Lagos with extended family ranging from 23-78 years of age, which can be challenging, & this property — with great amenities, close to the beach, and a quick car ride to Old Town Lagos — could not have been more perfect. The check-in/concierge staff was phenomenal. We arrived early, but they managed to get us all placed in rooms immediately. Check-in was efficient& thorough, including property & town maps as well as suggestions for getting to know the area for our first day. During our stay, concierge services went above & beyond to suggest and book experiences, as well as private transportation for us. All of our units were immaculate upon check-in, & the housekeeping staff had them pristine again SO quickly each day. The management & staff of Levante was beyond exceptional, & all the food we had was wonderful. Many of our more-seasoned travelers noted the brunch buffet as one of their top brunch experiences ever. The Lobby Bar & The Green Lounge were both top-notch as well, & Diego is THE MAN! The outdoor space was clean & beautifully maintained, the infused water & fresh florals in the lobby were well-done, & the little relaxation pools in the central hall were perfect for relaxing with a cup of coffee. The pools were clean & there was always plenty of room. We loved having the space to spend time dining & visiting on our patios with our group. The lobby area had comfortable spaces for gathering & having drinks & snacks. It was very quiet, despite seeing many families with small children on the property. We didn't hear slamming doors, loud voices, or running in the hallways (or from the pool area) at night. Every staff member went above & beyond to take extra-care of our elderly traveling companions, which offered such peace of mind to our group. We enjoyed the hiking, kayaking, & boat tours available in close proximity.

Excellent stay overall. Resort facilities very good- plenty of sun loungers and pool never crowded. Accommodation of a high standard - spacious, very clean and well equipped. Very close to the beach

Wonderful two bedroom condo very comfortable with great amenities right on the beach with beautiful views good restaurant and hospitality - we will be back!

Die Ausstattung des Apartments als auch die Größe hat uns sehr gefallen. Das Personal war überaus freundlich und das Frühstück sehr reichhaltig und lecker! Die nahe Lage (ca 400m) zum Strand ist zu erwähnen! Die Anlage hat mehrere Pools und alles war im tadellosem Zustand. Unser Wagen konnten wir in einer Großraumgarage unter dem Haus parken. Eine perfekte Anlage für einen Strandurlaub!!! Und mit dem eigenen Wagen auch ein perfekter Standort zum Erkunden der Algarve. In der Hochsaison können die limitierten Parkmöglichkeiten an anderen Stränden oder Sehenswürdigkeiten aber stressig werden.

Wenn man etwas kritisieren möchte, dann vielleicht, dass in der Nähe des Hotel bis auf den Strand nichts weiter fussläufig zu erreichen ist (z.B. Restaurant, Supermarkt, ....). Ein eigenes Transportmittel ist notwendig, wenn man etwas einkaufen oder mal ein anderes Restaurant ausprobieren möchte. Aber das gilt wohl für sehr viele Unterkünfte ;-)

The reception staff were exceptionally helpful and courteous. The restaurant was similarly excellent from a food and service perspective and the the bar staff deserve mention for their convivial approach to customers.

There is a shallow reflection pool (non swimming) on the spa level but a lot of the mosaic tiles are missing, which looks untidy and unkempt. Similarly there is work being undertaken on the restaurant level and piles of earth are again unsightly from some tables in the restaurant. Some of this could be shielded from view or some attempt to redress the issues before the main season gains pace. Some elements of the spa were not functioning ( Jacuzzi jets, high pressure cold shower), which was disappointing and should be fixed before the season gets going.

Gorgeous building, rooms and property. Very friendly, helpful staff. One thing Incan think of that could be improved is the path down to the beach from pool. It needs some repair.

See above. Pool attendants could serve patrons instead of requiring going to bar.

A área de piscinas coberta e aquecida é ótima! E amamos o quarto ser bastante completo na parte de cozinha , pois conseguimos cozinhar todos os dias o que ajudou mt no custo benefício.

A cama poderia ser mais confortável e não tem nenhum mercado mt próximo , portanto pra ficar aqui importante alugar carro
