Perfect location for bagging local fells, big friendly pub and good food.

It wasn’t a problem for me but if you did want an early night you can hear people talking etc until mid night.

Staff were really friendly, and the food was fantastic (I stopped for both evening meal and breakfast). Also made me a fabulous packed lunch to take on my travels when departing. Highly recommended. Many thanks Diane.

The older staff member on the main desk was passive-aggressive and not very helpful. However, young girl who helped me to make my partner birthday special were very helpful.
