Hotel La Cartuja

The Cartuja Hotel is just amazing. I had a very clean and comfy room and the breakfast was made by heart. The hotel is located in quiet region but you can reach nice restaurant easy by foot. The metro station is 5 mins away and you have 3 stops until the old town. The staff is unbelievable friendly. Carla, Monica and Patricio are that nice and helped all the time. and thats why I once want to go back. Muchas gracias para todo

The rooms are a little dated but clean and comfortable. The rooms near reception are noisy, but the rooms around the rear courtyard are quieter. Breakfast is basic but sufficient. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The workers are very nice and helpful. They speak english pretty well and are attentive. The rooms are pretty nice, with shelves and hangers for clothes, as well as a luggage rack for a suitcase. The front has a locked gate that they can buzz open to let you in, and there is always someone at the front desk to do so (as well as greet you when you arrive, or help with anything if you're in need). They will also offer to call a (safe) taxi if needed, and there are umbrellas to borrow if you need as well.

Maria, Carla, Patricio and Monica were amazing hosts going the extra mile to always make you feel comfortable. Room clean and comfortable, plenty of hot water. Breakfasts were simple and delicious for all. The staff will go above and beyond, simply ask and they will help! Thankful to have stayed with them at the beginning and end of my trip to Ecuador.

Housed in the ex British Consulate, this hotel in Quito is a great place to stay. Centrally located near the museum and park and a short walk to the local subway, it's a secure and comfortable hotel. Some of the older rooms may lack a modern feel but they are clean and well appointed and the hotel is secure and gated. The staff elevated this hotel from 'good' to 'excellent'. Patricio and his counterpart are friendly, helpful and provide advice where needed. They greet you by name, remember your requests and worked very hard to make my stay enjoyable. They will help organise taxis if needed. Even though I was only in Quito for a few nights , they made the hotel a welcoming base from which to operate and I enjoyed my stay here very much.

Lovely old-charm hotel that has a very homely feel. The staff are very friendly and exceptional service. The breakfast is plentiful and eggs cooked hot when you get there. The rooms are all very clean just like the rest of the hotel. Close to city centre and would highly recommend

Lovely hotel, very good staff. Clean and comfortable. Close to city centre. Booked as part of a tour to the Galapagos. Plentiful breakfast with excellent coffee. Patricia is so helpful with restaurant and activities to do. Highly recommended.

This hotel is a delight. Warm, friendly, clean and lovely breakfasts. The rooms are spacious with ensuite bathrooms. It has been a pleasure to stay at. All of the staff are friendly and have good English, Maria and Carla were especially helpful. Thank you.
