We received such a lovely, warm welcome from the host which got our stay off to an amazing start. The description of room comfort "home away from home" is very apt. Our room was small but comfortable with amenities such as tea/coffee and tv to hand. It made a great base to explore our first taste of Ramsgate. The freshly made breakfast was an absolute delight and set us up nicely for the following days activities. Overall, I would definitely stay again.

Full English breakfast was excellent and freshly cooked. Free water on arrival. We were also unexpectadly upgraded to the seaview room. The host was amazing guy (don't know his name unfortunately). Just 10 mins walk to marina, the biggest Wetherspoon and the beach. Room was small but bright and cozy

Dear Spencer Court, I recently stayed in Room 3 at your hotel and, unfortunately, found several issues that negatively impacted my visit. I believe some straightforward improvements could significantly enhance the guest experience. I’ve outlined the main concerns below: The sash window’s rope mechanism is damaged, making it impossible to keep the window open on warm nights. No fan was provided, which made the room uncomfortably hot. The TV cabling is loose and currently hanging down, rather than being properly secured behind the unit. The wardrobe door is misaligned and does not close; it would benefit from being planed to fit properly. The overall condition of the room is tired and dated. It’s well beyond needing just a fresh coat of paint – a more thorough refurbishment is clearly overdue. The door lock did not latch properly. I had to push firmly against the door each time to get it to secure. The shower head barely fits into its clasp and dislodged twice during use, which was frustrating and inconvenient. The iron provided burned the collar of my formal shirt while on a medium steam setting (water in the reservoir). Upon inspection, the underside of the iron appeared burnt and in poor condition. Summary: It shouldn’t be too much to expect that hotel rooms are regularly inspected and that basic repairs are carried out. Additionally, guests should be provided with functional and safe equipment, such as a clean, well-maintained iron. Neglecting these small but important details reflects poorly on independent establishments and contributes to the perception that care and attention are lacking. Guests do notice these things, and such issues will affect the overall impression of the hotel. On a positive note, I would like to acknowledge that the member of staff who checked me in was friendly and welcoming, and the room itself was clean. That said, meaningful improvements are needed to bring the accommodation up to an acceptable standard.

Welcoming staff. We had a good night's sleep; quiet and peaceful location in Ramsgate. A freshly cooked, delicious breakfast.

Tiny bathroom (room 6) have to come out of the bathroom after a shower. OK if your a couple sharing the room but no privacy to change after if sharing with a friend.

Stayed with the purpose of doing the Pegwell bay parkrun the following day. The bed was noisy and old. Creaked with ever move. And despite my partner and I both being slim we sort of dipped into the middle of the bed. To add insult to injury one of the other (less savoury guests) were shouting their heads off at 4am and as a finale pee’d out the window directly outside of our window…. We could literally smell it. Definately a memorable experience, though defo not one id want to repeat.
