"Good location for the price but generally run down could do with a complete makeover."

Location Good. Met our expectations for the price. Easy access to get into via the front at night. Breakfast good.

Parking. The quality of decoration and painting in the bedroom. Lose toilet seat. Choice of cereals could have been better. Packet of fruit and fibre was empty. Our bedroom door lock stiff to open.

We were greeted by a wonderful couple who were very welcoming and helpful. Our stay was very short but sweet. The hotel is in a fantastic location; in the square where Van Gogh lived and gave classes. The beach is a 5 min walk. We had a comfortable and enjoyable stay and the staff were genuinely so nice. I think this makes all the difference. The area is beautiful and the hotel was quiet so we rested well.

I was only there for one night but thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Spencer Court- I only could have asked that I could've stayed longer. Beautiful building in an ideal location. Would highly recommend for the fellow discerning travellers who are looking to add that certain je ne sais quoi to their holiday in Ramsgate.
